Our verdict
The Schoolastic Witch Hat and Cape Set (65/100, ₱179 to ₱199) is our pick: polyester and cape lengths stated, from a shop on Shopee since 2017 with about 3,000 sales. The enxy.ph headband (64, from ₱21) is the cheapest, and the MALORY vampire cloak (61, from ₱140) has the most sizes.
Every pick costs under ₱200 in at least one design or size. Check cape hems and mask eye holes, as the US Consumer Product Safety Commission advises, and add reflective tape for trick-or-treating. Costume accessories are not health products, so we did no FDA check. This is general information, not medical advice.
We searched Shopee for last-minute Halloween costume accessories under ₱200 on October 20, 2026, through official shops and then all sellers sorted by sales, and kept five accessories (a hat and cape, a headband, a cloak, glasses and a mask) that do not overlap with our costume or decoration guides. Under the owner’s occasion-guide exception, unbranded items were scored on the seller’s record and what the listing states.
₱21 to ₱199
Price of the five picks at their cheapest design or size on 20 October 2026: enxy.ph headband ₱21, bookstore2 mask ₱26, SK Kids glasses ₱52, MALORY cape ₱140 and Schoolastic hat and cape ₱179 (₱199 for the 120 cm set).

Costume accessory safety: what the US consumer safety agency says
These points come from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Halloween safety tips (first published October 2022). They are US guidance used here as general information; we did not find or check a Philippine equivalent, and this is not medical advice.
- Avoid long or baggy styles that cause trips and falls; check that a cape or cloak clears the ground.
- Keep loose, flowing fabric away from open flames. Polyester or nylon are preferred to sheer cotton or rayon, but any fabric can burn.
- Make sure mask eye and nose openings allow full vision and easy breathing; makeup can be a safer alternative to a mask.
- Add reflective tape to costumes and outerwear, wear bright colours and carry a flashlight or glow stick.
- In the CPSC’s figures, 25% of Halloween injuries in US emergency departments came from falls, including tripping on costumes.
What the claims on these listings actually mean
| Claim | What it covers | Key exclusion |
|---|---|---|
| “Skin friendly”, “soft and comfortable” (Schoolastic) | The seller’s description of the polyester | No test or fabric blend; not a safety statement |
| “Polyester or satin” / “Cotton” (MALORY) | Two different fabrics named in one listing | Ask the seller which you will get; the CPSC prefers polyester or nylon |
| “High-quality material” (SK Kids, bookstore2) | A seller’s opinion | No thickness, plastic type or test is given |
| “Recommended age 9 to 10 years” (MALORY) | A form field | Conflicts with 90 cm sizes in the same listing |
| “Blank canvas” (bookstore2) | The mask is plain white for painting | The paint is a separate ₱14 variant |
Accessory listings we would be careful with
| Product | What we found | Our check |
|---|---|---|
| SunnyMart- headband with spider web, bat and weapon variants (₱21 to ₱94) | Variants resemble the enxy.ph listing, but the shop joined on 3 September 2026 and has 378 followers and 35 items. | Not scored: weeks-old shop |
| Light-up LED headbands, horns and masks (₱29 to ₱71) | Battery boxes with no description of how the door closes; see our lights guide for button-cell cautions. | Not scored: battery details missing |
| Decorative (cosmetic) Halloween contact lenses (₱65 to ₱119) | Thousands sold, but these are eye products, not costume accessories. | Not covered: ask an eye doctor before wearing |
| Realistic horror masks, full-head (₱86 to ₱389) | Full-head masks can limit vision and breathing, as the CPSC notes for masks. | Not covered: see the safety section |
| Disney and Barbie headbands at ₱199 to ₱349 | Official fashion shop (Optima); not Halloween-specific, and some are over ₱200. | Not scored: over budget or off topic |

How to choose last-minute Halloween costume accessories
- Work from the head down: hat or headband, face (mask or makeup), then cape. A hat-and-cape set covers two pieces for ₱179.
- Check the cape hem against the child’s height; it should clear the ground.
- Choose paper or novelty masks only if eye and nose openings give full vision and breathing.
- Choose a polyester or nylon cape over thin cotton or rayon, as the CPSC suggests, and keep it away from candles.
- Read the exact variant: on several of these listings the price shown first belongs to a different design, size or item (the ₱14 on the mask listing is a paint set).
- Check delivery before 31 October; for tomorrow’s party, buy from a shop in Metro Manila or a local store.
How we researched this guide
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list and Shopee search for Halloween headbands, masks, capes, hats and glasses on October 20, 2026, first with the official-shop (Mall) filter and then across all sellers sorted by sales, and read each finalist listing and shop record in full. We scored them with our published rubric: provenance (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We did not use or test any product.
Costume accessories are not health products, so we did no FDA registry check; decorative contact lenses are an eye product and were not covered. The owner has allowed occasion guides to rank unbranded items, so all five picks are unbranded and were scored on seller record and listing evidence. Safety points are general information from US guidance, not medical advice. This guide has not yet been reviewed by our health content reviewer, and we have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for this category.
