Our verdict
CHiQ CSR04DI 3.5 cu ft (89/100, ₱7,390, ₱83.98 per litre) is the best mini fridge we could verify: the most space for the money, a full spec list and a 10-year compressor warranty. Fujidenzo RB-18HS (87/100, ₱5,998) is the safest 1.8 cu ft pick, and Everest (84/100, ₱5,299) is the cheapest per litre in that class.
The cheap 4 to 22 litre “mini fridges” at ₱998 to ₱1,809 are thermoelectric skincare and car coolers, not kitchen fridges, and the most-sold “mini refrigerator” with a freezer is really a 145 litre unit with contradicting specs. This is general information about appliances.
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list and Shopee search for mini fridges, personal refrigerators and 1.8 to 3.5 cu ft fridges on October 27, 2026, identified each shop, and read the full listings. Refrigerators are appliances, so no FDA check applies; we judged brand, Mall store, model number, stated specifications and warranty.

How much less per litre the 88 L CHiQ CSR04DI costs (₱83.98) than the 50 L American Home ABR-50B (₱119.98). A bigger small fridge is often cheaper per litre, so decide your space first and then compare per litre. Prices checked on 28 October 2026.

Choosing a mini fridge: what the numbers mean
General information about appliances, from the listings we read.
- Cubic feet to litres: 1 cu ft is about 28.3 L, so 1.8 cu ft is about 51 L and 3.5 cu ft is about 99 L. Listings often quote “gross” cubic feet and a smaller net litre figure, which is why the 1.8 cu ft CHiQ says 46 L and the Everest says 48 L.
- Rated watts are not daily electricity use. A fridge’s compressor switches on and off, so the watt rating says how much it draws while running, not how much it uses in a day. Only two listings we read give a daily figure: Midea says 0.335 kWh per 24 hours, and the Hanatek seller works out 0.29 kWh a day at ₱9.7 per kWh, about ₱2.8. Those are the sellers’ numbers, not ours.
- Compressor warranty is the one to read. The compressor is the costly part. Fujidenzo and Everest give 5 years on it, CHiQ 3.5 gives 10, and the CHiQ 1.8 and American Home listings state no compressor cover. Everest’s terms say you must take the fridge to a service centre.
- Manual defrost (all the 1.8 cu ft models here) means you defrost the small freezer box yourself, and a “frost-free” claim on a cheap model should be checked (general advice).
- Thermoelectric coolers are a different product. The 4 to 22 L skincare and car fridges use a thermoelectric plate, run from USB or 12 V, and cool only a set number of degrees below room temperature; they are not made to freeze or to keep a week’s food (general information).
- Let a new fridge rest. The American Home listing says to leave the unit upright for 24 hours before plugging it in; follow the manual of whichever you buy (general advice).
- Give it air. Leave a few centimetres around the back and sides and keep it away from the stove and direct sun (general advice).
What the claims on these listings actually mean
| Claim | What it covers | Key exclusion |
|---|---|---|
| “Energy saving”, “low power”, “Grade 1 efficiency” | A marketing description | No energy label or kWh figure is shown; only rated watts, and the Hodekt listing gives none |
| “Consumes only 61 watts” / “only 80 watts” | The rated power while running | Not a daily figure; 80 W is the highest of the picks |
| “42dB low noise” (CHiQ 3.5) | A noise level | The brand’s figure; no test shown, and no other listing states one |
| “Inverter” (Hanatek 145 L) | A variable-speed compressor | The same listing says “Fixed Frequency” and “Energy Efficiency Grade Level 3” |
| “Anti-bacterial coating”, “odor control filter”, “anti-bacterial deodorizer” | Interior treatments | Untested claims; none shows a test |
| “5 years on the compressor” (Fujidenzo, Everest) | A part warranty | Service terms differ: Everest’s is shop service only, home service may be charged |
| “One year warranty (free replacement, no repair)” (Hodekt) | A warranty by replacement | The attributes say “No Warranty”, and a replacement-only warranty means no repair |
| “Mini Refrigerator with Freezer 8 Liter” (portable coolers) | A small cooler sold as a refrigerator | Listed as thermoelectric and USB-powered; a freezer claim on such a unit is not credible (general information) |
| “Frost-free” (portable coolers) | No ice build-up | A tag on a thermoelectric box, not a feature of a kitchen fridge |
Mini fridge listings we would be careful with
| Product | What we found | Our check |
|---|---|---|
| HODEKT Mini Fridge 2 Door 42L, ₱5,499 (HODEKT Official Store, Mall, 915K followers; listed November 2025) | Attributes say “No Warranty” while the text says “ONE Year Warranty (Free Replacement, No Repair)”; no wattage, no model number; “Grade 1 efficiency” with no label shown. | Not scored (warranty contradiction, no specs) |
| HANATEK Mini Refrigerator With Freezer 145L, ₱6,899 (non-Mall shop, 10K sold) | Not a mini fridge (145 L). Title says “Inverter” but an attribute says “Fixed Frequency” and “Energy Efficiency Grade Level 3”; the text includes lines about car trips and “a total volume of 48 litres” that do not match; it gives its own 0.29 kWh a day, about ₱2.8 at ₱9.7 per kWh. | Not scored (contradicting specs, not a mini fridge) |
| Astron RF230 Two Door 3.0 cu ft (85 L), ₱7,825 (Astron Appliances Mall) | A 5-year warranty and 52 W, but a rating of 4.19 from 492 ratings, with 49 one-star and 24 two-star; country of origin “Others”; dimensions given in inches. | Not scored (many low ratings) |
| Midea Jazz 1.6 / 3.3 cu ft, ₱7,095 to ₱9,495 (Midea Official Store) | 3.5 stars from 20 ratings; the attribute says 123 W while the spec text says 70 W rated; listed September 2025. | Not scored (conflicting watts, few ratings) |
| TCL TR-59PHB 1.8 cu ft (59 L), ₱7,299 (TCL Official Store) | One rating; voltage attribute reads “2240V”; the other TCL listing (“1.8 & 3.5 cu ft”, ₱5,995 to ₱7,495) gives no litres, watts or warranty detail beyond 12 months. | Not scored (new, thin listings) |
| Sharp SJ-PL05AS 1.7 cu ft (47 L storage), ₱8,198 (Sharp Philippines) | A clear spec sheet and 65 W, but ₱174.43 per litre of storage and 15 ratings. | Not scored (price, few ratings) |
| Condura personal refrigerator from a Tondo reseller, ₱7,700 | A reseller listing with 2 sold; we did not find a Condura store on Shopee. | Not scored (not the brand store) |
| 4 to 22 L “mini fridge” skincare and car coolers, ₱998 to ₱1,809 (non-Mall shops, up to 3K sold) | Thermoelectric USB or 12 V boxes sold as “refrigerator with freezer”; one lists “Feature: THERMOELECTRIC”, “Power Source: USB” and “Certification: CE”. Ratings 4.2 to 4.5. | Not scored (a different product) |
| Tomler 42L, Mondial 138L and other non-Mall small refrigerators, ₱4,759 to ₱5,999 | Cheaper unbranded or little-known names from non-Mall shops; we did not read them in full. | Not scored (not reviewed) |
Our picks

89/100
88 L with 8 L freezer
65 W (rated)
10-year compressor warranty
₱83.98 per litre
| Brand and model | CHiQ CSR04DI; Mall store; no FDA check applies to an appliance, so we judged brand, store, model number and warranty |
| Capacity stated | 88 L, of which an 8 L freezer; 474 x 447 x 831 mm; 20 kg |
| Power and noise stated | 65 W rated, 220 V; “42 dB low noise design” (brand claim) |
| Features stated | Mechanical temperature control, reversible door, levelling feet, crisper box, interior lamp, adjustable shelves |
| Warranty stated | 1 year local manufacturer warranty, 10 years on the compressor; 15-day return |
| Inconsistencies | Title says “Single Door” but the text describes “independent dual temperature zones”; the cooling-system attribute lists both auto and manual defrost |
| Seller | CHiQ Flagship Store (Shopee Mall): joined 2020, 215.5K followers, 100% response; 4.82 stars from 839 ratings on this listing, about 2K sold |
| Price | ₱7,390 for 88 L = ₱83.98 per litre |
The best value of the six by a clear margin: 88 L for ₱7,390 is ₱83.98 per litre, against ₱110 to ₱120 for the 1.8 cu ft models. The listing is also the fullest, with litres, an 8 L freezer, rated watts, noise level, dimensions, and the longest compressor warranty in this guide, 10 years, from the brand’s own Mall store.
The listing contradicts itself on the defrost type and on whether it is single or dual zone, so ask the store what you will actually get. The 42 dB figure and “energy saving” are the brand’s claims, and 65 W is a rated power, not how much electricity it uses in a day. At 88 L it is roughly twice the size of the 1.8 cu ft models, so check that it fits: it is 83 cm tall.
Why it scored well
- Lowest price per litre
- 10-year compressor warranty, 15-day return
- Litres, watts, noise and dimensions all stated
Watch-outs
- Title and text disagree on single or dual zone and on defrost type
- 42 dB and “energy saving” are untested claims
- 83 cm tall and 20 kg

87/100
1.8 cu ft (about 51 L)
61 W (rated)
5-year compressor warranty
₱117.67 per litre
| Brand and model | Fujidenzo RB-18HS; Mall store; no FDA check applies |
| Capacity stated | 1.8 cu ft (about 51 L by our conversion); 52 x 44 x 47 cm (h x w x d) |
| Power stated | “Consumes only 61 watts”; R600a refrigerant |
| Features stated | Freezer compartment, wire shelves, “anti-bacterial coating”, reversible door, stainless steel door |
| Warranty stated | 1 year on service, 2 years on parts, 5 years on the compressor |
| Seller | Fujidenzo (Shopee Mall): joined 2019, 367K followers, 97% response; 4.67 stars from 4,368 ratings on this listing, about 10K sold |
| Price | ₱5,998 for about 51 L = ₱117.67 per litre |
The most-reviewed fridge of this size: 4,368 ratings and about 10K sold since 2019, from the brand’s own Mall store, with a model number, a rated 61 W and a three-tier warranty that includes five years on the compressor. For a bedroom, dorm or office it is the safe choice in the 1.8 cu ft class.
The listing gives cubic feet but no litres, so we converted to about 51 L, and “anti-bacterial coating” is an untested claim. At ₱117.67 per litre it costs more per litre than the Everest, and its 4.67 rating is the lowest of the Mall brands we ranked. If you want more space for the money, the 3.5 cu ft CHiQ above costs ₱1,392 more but holds nearly twice as much.
Why it scored well
- Model number, watts and dimensions stated
- 5-year compressor warranty
- 4,368 ratings, about 10K sold
Watch-outs
- No capacity in litres on the page
- “Anti-bacterial coating” is untested
- Lowest rating of the ranked Mall brands (4.67)
Cheapest per litre of the 1.8 cu ft class, but service is at the shop only
3. EVEREST 1.8 cu.ft. Personal Refrigerator, Non Inverter, 48L (Everest Appliances)
ShopeeLazada84/100
48 L
61 W (rated)
5-year compressor warranty
₱110.40 per litre
| Brand and model | Everest 1.8 cu ft personal refrigerator (no model number on the listing); Mall store; no FDA check applies |
| Capacity stated | 1.8 cu ft, 48 L; 465 x 440 x 510 mm |
| Power stated | 61 W, 230 V, non-inverter motor; manual defrost; mechanical temperature control |
| Layout stated | One slide-out wire shelf, a half-width door rack and a full-width door rack that holds 2-litre bottles; reversible door; odor control filter |
| Warranty stated | 5 years on the compressor, 1 year on parts and service; shop service only: you bring the unit to a service centre and home service may be charged |
| Seller | Everest Appliances (Shopee Mall): joined 2020, 76.9K followers, 99% response; 4.83 stars from 628 ratings on this listing, about 1K sold |
| Price | ₱5,299 for 48 L = ₱110.40 per litre |
The lowest price per litre in the 1.8 cu ft class on a litre figure the listing states itself (48 L), with a 5-year compressor warranty, a Philippine country of origin and a clear description of the shelf and door layout. Ratings are strong at 4.83 from 628.
No model number is given, which makes it harder to look up a manual or parts. The warranty terms are also the plainest about their limits: the unit must go to a service centre, and home service may carry a transport charge. For a heavy fridge, that matters. “Odor control filter” is an untested claim.
Why it scored well
- Litres, watts and shelf layout stated
- 5-year compressor warranty
- 4.83 stars from 628 ratings
Watch-outs
- No model number on the listing
- Shop-service only; home service may be charged
- “Odor control filter” is untested

81/100
3.5 cu ft (about 99 L)
80 W (rated)
5-year compressor warranty
₱93.81 per litre
| Brand and model | Fujidenzo RDD-35 T; Mall store; no FDA check applies |
| Capacity stated | 3.5 cu ft (about 99 L by our conversion); two-door direct cool; 85 x 47.5 x 50.5 cm (h x w x d) |
| Power stated | “Consumes very minimal electricity only 80 watts” |
| Features stated | Interior light, full-range temperature control, adjustable shelf and legs, recessed handle, stainless steel |
| Warranty stated | 1 year service, 2 years parts, 5 years compressor |
| Seller | Fujidenzo (Shopee Mall): 4.86 stars from 4,774 ratings on this listing, about 10K sold |
| Price | ₱9,298 for about 99 L = ₱93.81 per litre |
A separate freezer door, 4,774 ratings at 4.86 and the same three-tier warranty as the smaller Fujidenzo, from the brand’s own Mall store. If you want a real freezer compartment in a small footprint, this is the model with a model number and a strong record.
It is the dearest of the six at ₱9,298, and its rated 80 W is the highest here, which sits oddly beside “very minimal electricity”. The listing gives no litres, no noise figure and no defrost type. The CHiQ CSR04DI above costs ₱1,908 less and lists 88 L, 65 W and 42 dB.
Why it scored well
- Separate freezer door
- 4,774 ratings at 4.86
- 5-year compressor warranty
Watch-outs
- Dearest pick, highest rated watts (80 W)
- No litres, noise or defrost type stated
- “Very minimal electricity” is a claim next to 80 W

78/100
46 L (attribute)
50 W (rated)
12-month warranty
₱112.83 per litre
| Brand and model | CHiQ CSR02DB/W; Mall store; no FDA check applies |
| Capacity stated | Title: 1.8 cu ft; attribute: 46 L; 447 x 474 x 496 mm; 15 kg |
| Power stated | 50 W, 220 V; manual defrost; micro freezer; reversible doors |
| Warranty stated | 12 months manufacturer; no compressor warranty on this listing |
| Inconsistencies | 1.8 cu ft is about 51 L, but the attribute says 46 L; attributes such as “SIRIM Certified: No” and “Has BSMI No: No” do not apply here |
| Seller | CHiQ Flagship Store (Shopee Mall): 4.76 stars from 502 ratings on this listing, about 1K sold; listed January 2025 |
| Price | ₱5,190 white (₱5,690 black) for 46 L = ₱112.83 per litre |
The cheapest fridge here at ₱5,190 and the lowest rated power in the 1.8 cu ft class, 50 W, from a Mall store with a model number and a clear spec table. For a tight condo corner, it is the lightest on the wallet.
Capacity is stated two ways (1.8 cu ft in the title, 46 L in the attributes), the warranty is 12 months with no compressor cover on this listing, and the listing is only since January 2025. Compare it with the Everest and Fujidenzo, which cost a little more and carry 5-year compressor warranties.
Why it scored well
- Lowest price and lowest rated watts (50 W)
- Model number and full spec table
- 502 ratings at 4.76
Watch-outs
- Capacity differs between title and attribute
- 12-month warranty, no compressor cover stated
- Listed only since January 2025

72/100
50 L
78 W (rated)
1-year warranty
₱119.98 per litre
| Brand and model | American Home ABR-50B; Mall store (Direct Line); no FDA check applies |
| Capacity stated | 1.8 cu ft, 50 L; 48.6 x 45 x 47.2 cm; 14.9 kg net |
| Power stated | 78 W, 230 V, 60 Hz, 0.71 A; R600a refrigerant, 15 g; made in Vietnam |
| Claims | “Fast cooling”, “energy saving”, “anti-bacterial deodorizer”, “CFC-free” |
| Warranty stated | 1 year on parts and service; “rest the unit upright for 24 hours before plugging in” |
| Inconsistencies | Attributes say “Custom Product: Yes” and “Build-in Battery: Yes” for a mains refrigerator |
| Seller | Direct Line (Shopee Mall): joined 2020, 22.3K followers, 23% response; 4.81 stars from 94 ratings on this listing, 335 sold |
| Price | ₱5,999 for 50 L = ₱119.98 per litre |
The most detailed technical sheet of the 1.8 cu ft group: current, refrigerant amount, weights and a rest-upright instruction that other listings leave out, with a model number. It is sold through a Mall store that carries the brand.
It is also the dearest per litre of the 1.8 cu ft models, draws the most rated power (78 W), and carries only a one-year warranty with no compressor cover stated. Two attributes (custom product, built-in battery) are plainly wrong, the shop answers only 23% of chats, and 94 ratings is a short record. “Energy saving” sits next to the highest watts.
Why it scored well
- Full technical sheet with a model number
- Rest-upright instruction included
- CFC-free R600a refrigerant stated
Watch-outs
- Highest rated watts and price per litre of the 1.8 cu ft class
- Wrong attributes (custom, built-in battery)
- 1-year warranty, 23% reply rate
How to choose a mini fridge
- Measure the space first, including the door swing and the gap at the back. The 3.5 cu ft models are 83 to 85 cm tall; the 1.8 cu ft ones are about 50 cm.
- Pick the class: 1.8 cu ft (about 46 to 51 L) for drinks and snacks in a bedroom or office; 3.5 cu ft (about 88 to 99 L) if you want a freezer and real groceries.
- Compare per litre, on the litre figure the listing states, and ignore the title cubic feet if the attributes say otherwise.
- Read the warranty terms, especially the compressor, and whether service is at the shop or at your home.
- Ask for the model number. A listing without one (the Everest) is harder to match to a manual or parts.
- Check the rated watts if you will run it all day: 50 to 80 W across these picks (general advice; it is not a daily figure).
- Avoid skincare and car coolers if you want to store food for more than a short trip.
- Look at the rating spread, not just the average: a 4.19 star listing with many one-star ratings (Astron) tells a different story from a 4.8.
How we researched this guide
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list and Shopee search for mini fridge, mini refrigerator, personal refrigerator and 1.8 to 3.5 cu ft refrigerators on October 27, 2026, then searched by brand (Fujidenzo, CHiQ, Everest, TCL, Sharp, Midea, Astron, American Home, Hodekt, Hanatek, Condura and others). We identified each shop (Mall status, year joined, followers, ratings, response rate), read the full listings and scored six with our published rubric: provenance and model evidence (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We did not use or test any appliance.
No FDA check applies to a refrigerator, so provenance here means the brand, a Mall store, a model number and stated warranty. Specifications and warranty terms are the sellers’ and we did not verify them with the makers or test noise or electricity use. Litre figures for the two Fujidenzo models are our conversion from cubic feet. We have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for this category.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best mini fridge in the Philippines?
Of the models we could verify, the CHiQ CSR04DI 3.5 cu ft (89/100, ₱7,390, ₱83.98 per litre) is the best all-round, with a 10-year compressor warranty. Fujidenzo RB-18HS (87/100, ₱5,998) is the safest 1.8 cu ft model.
How many litres is a 1.8 cu ft mini fridge?
About 51 L gross. Listings often state a smaller net figure: Everest says 48 L, American Home 50 L and CHiQ 46 L.
How much electricity does a mini fridge use?
Rated watts (50 to 80 W across our picks) are not a daily figure, because the compressor cycles. Only Midea's listing gives a daily figure, 0.335 kWh per 24 hours, and that is the seller's number.
Which mini fridge has the best compressor warranty?
The CHiQ CSR04DI lists 10 years on the compressor. Fujidenzo and Everest list 5 years. Everest's warranty is shop service only, and the CHiQ 1.8 and American Home listings state no compressor warranty.
Is a mini fridge with a freezer really freezing?
The 1.8 cu ft models have a small freezer box; the 3.5 cu ft CHiQ lists an 8 L freezer and the Fujidenzo RDD-35 has a separate freezer door. Skincare coolers sold as "with freezer" are thermoelectric and not a freezer (general information).
Are skincare mini fridges worth it?
They are small thermoelectric coolers for cosmetics, run on USB or 12 V. They are not a substitute for a kitchen mini fridge (general information).
Why is the Hodekt mini fridge not ranked?
Its attributes say "No Warranty" while the text says one year with free replacement and no repair, and it states no wattage or model number.
Why is the Hanatek 145 L not ranked?
It is not a mini fridge, and the listing says "Inverter" while an attribute says "Fixed Frequency" and the efficiency grade is Level 3.
Do I need to let a new fridge stand before plugging it in?
American Home's listing says to rest the unit upright for 24 hours before plugging in. Follow the manual of the model you buy (general advice).
Does a mini fridge need defrosting?
All the 1.8 cu ft models here are manual defrost, so you clear the freezer box yourself. The CHiQ CSR04DI listing mentions both auto and manual defrost, so ask the store.
Can a mini fridge go in a bedroom?
Many listings call them suitable for bedrooms, offices and dorms. CHiQ states 42 dB for the 3.5 cu ft model; no other listing states a noise level, so noise is untested here.
Where should I place a mini fridge?
Leave air around the back and sides and keep it away from the stove and direct sun (general advice).
