Our verdict
The Xiaomi Dust Mite Vacuum 2 (73/100, ₱3,099) is our pick: clean specifications and modest claims from an authorized Xiaomi store. Dreame D20 Pro (70) has the most features and a 24-month warranty; Deerma CM800 (68) is the budget choice at ₱1,869.
The scores are close because every listing makes mite-killing or sterilization claims with no test behind them. Allergy groups say a vacuum helps but cannot replace mite-proof covers and hot washing. This is general information, not medical advice.
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list and Shopee search for dust mite vacuums and UV bed vacuums on October 19, 2026, by brand (Xiaomi, Dreame, Deerma, Haier, Philips) and by store, and read each listing in full. We kept known brands sold by their own official or authorized shop.
4 of 4
Ranked listings that claim to kill or remove mites or germs by a percentage (90% to 99.99%) without naming a test. Two also show a lower price for a different model first.

Do dust mite vacuums help with allergies? What allergy groups say
These points come from Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s page on dust mites in your home and the National Asthma Council Australia’s page on dust mites as an asthma and allergy trigger. General information, not medical advice.
- Mite-proof covers on the mattress, pillows and duvet are described as the single most effective measure, but not enough on their own (CUH).
- Wash bedding not in allergy covers at 60 °C; a cooler wash only partly kills mites (CUH). Washing sheets and pillowcases weekly in water hotter than 60 °C kills mites and washes away their allergen (National Asthma Council).
- Vacuum at least once a week, ideally not by the person with the allergy; anti-allergy vacuums with a HEPA filter that do not blow dust out may help (CUH).
- Vacuuming, even with a HEPA vacuum, raises the amount of mite allergen in the air for up to 20 minutes, so the allergic person should leave the room (National Asthma Council).
- Acaricide (anti-mite) sprays are not recommended, as they are of limited help (CUH).
- Keep indoor humidity under 50% (but over 30%) with ventilation or a dehumidifier (CUH).
- Avoidance measures lower but do not completely remove mite allergen, and doing one or two measures inconsistently is unlikely to make a difference (CUH).
So a dust mite vacuum is one part of a routine, not the whole answer. Its UV lamp and percentage claims are not backed by tests on these listings; covers and hot washing are what the allergy groups put first. If allergies or asthma are hard to control, see a doctor.
What the claims on these listings actually mean
| Claim | What it covers | Key exclusion |
|---|---|---|
| “UV sterilization 99% / 99.99%” | A UV lamp shines on the fabric surface | No test, organism, distance or time is given on any listing |
| “Kills all mites”, “eliminates live mites” | Heat or UV on the surface | Mites live deep in mattresses; allergen remains even after mites die |
| Suction in Pa (12,000 to 18,000) | Maximum vacuum pressure the maker quotes | Not measured the same way across brands; Deerma gives two figures |
| Hot air / heated plate | Warms and dries the fabric surface | Not the same as a 60 °C wash, which allergy groups recommend |
| “HEPA” or “5-layer filtration” | How fine the exhaust filter is | Only Deerma states HEPA (as an attribute); others do not give a filter grade |
| “Ultrasonic mite removal” | A marketing feature (Haier) | No evidence given; not mentioned by the allergy groups we read |
| “Dust mite sensor” | Detects particles while cleaning (Dreame) | Measures dust and particles, not live mites |
Dust mite vacuum listings we would be careful with
| Product | What we found | Our check |
|---|---|---|
| Simplus, Tixx, Kaisa Villa, Han River and other store brands | Large official or Mall shops (Simplus 915K followers) selling their own brand, known mainly through their own shops. | Not scored: brand not verifiable beyond the shop |
| “99000Pa”, “99999Kpa” and similar cordless mite vacuums | Suction figures many times higher than the known brands, from regular or cross-border shops. | Not scored: implausible specifications |
| Ultrasonic “mite removers” and anti-mite sprays | Plug-in ultrasonic devices and sprays sold for beds. CUH says acaricide sprays are of limited help. | Not covered: not a vacuum; little evidence |
| Xiaomi mite vacuums from other shops | Listings outside the authorized stores, some labelled “EU” versions. | Not scored: buy from an authorized Xiaomi store |
| Deerma and Haier from multi-brand resellers | The same models from a reseller with an official badge at different prices. | Not scored: buy from the brand’s own shop |
Our picks
Best overall: clean specs, authorized Xiaomi store
1. Xiaomi Dust Mite Vacuum Cleaner 2 (Authorized Xiaomi Brand Store)
ShopeeLazada73/100
Corded, 350 W
12,000 Pa, 50 °C hot air
12-month warranty
₱3,099 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: dust mite vacuums are household appliances. We found no FDA Philippines record or advisory for them. |
| Specifications stated | 220 V, 350 W, about 78 dB, 1.63 kg, 239 x 230.5 x 144 mm; 12,000 beats per minute; 12,000 Pa suction; 50 °C hot air; cyclone filter; washable filter; visible dust cup |
| Claims | “99% sterilization, 90% mites removal” (UV); cyclone filter “99% efficiency” |
| Inconsistencies | An attribute says “Build-in Battery = Yes”, but the specifications describe a 220 V corded unit. The filter grade (HEPA or not) is not stated. |
| Seller | Authorized Xiaomi Brand Store, Shopee official shop (on Shopee since August 2023, 294K followers, 4.91 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.95 from 466 ratings; search shows 1K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱3,099 for the Mite Vacuum 2 (Pro ₱4,299; 2 Pro ₱5,499) on 19 October 2026; 12-month warranty plus 15-day replacement |
Xiaomi gives a tidy, believable set of specifications (power, noise, weight, size, suction and beat rate) from an authorized Xiaomi store, and its percentage claims are lower and more specific than the “99.99%” figures elsewhere. At 1.63 kg it is easy to move around a bed. That makes it the most balanced pick of four close listings.
The “99% sterilization, 90% mites removal” figures come with no test or source, and the battery attribute is simply wrong for a corded machine. It does not say whether the filter is HEPA, which matters for allergy sufferers (see below). Warranty is 12 months from the supplier.
Why it scored well
- Clear, consistent specifications
- Light at 1.63 kg
- Authorized Xiaomi store; 15-day replacement
Watch-outs
- Percentage claims unsourced
- Filter grade not stated
- Wrong battery attribute

70/100
Corded, 520 W
15,500 Pa, heated plate + 70 °C air
24-month warranty
About ₱3,050 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: household appliance; no FDA record or advisory found. |
| Specifications stated | Corded, 5 m cord, 220 V, 520 W; 15,500 Pa suction; 33.5 x 26.5 x 25 cm; 55 °C heating plate with 2-minute auto-stop; 70 °C hot air; 64,000 slaps per minute; dust-revealing green light; dust mite sensor; dual dust cups |
| Claims | Heat “killing all mites”; “99.99% LED UV Sterilization Rate … eliminating bacteria & viruses” |
| Inconsistencies | The price shown first (₱3,989) is the S10 variant; the D20 Pro in the title costs ₱6,099. Attributes include “Country of Origin = Japan” and “SIRIM Certified = No”. |
| Seller | Dreame Official Store (on Shopee since August 2023, 103K followers, 4.93 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.97 from 257 ratings; search shows 1K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱6,099 for the D20 Pro (S10 ₱3,989) on 19 October 2026; 24-month warranty |
Dreame describes the most features in the most detail, including a safety detail many listings skip: the heating plate stops automatically after two minutes. It also offers the longest warranty, 24 months, which brings its price per warranty year close to Xiaomi’s despite the higher sticker price.
Its claims are the boldest: heat “killing all mites” and “99.99%” UV sterilization of bacteria and viruses, with no test shown. Read the variant before you pay; the lower price shown first is for the S10, not the D20 Pro in the title.
Why it scored well
- 24-month warranty
- Heating plate auto-stop (stated)
- Most detailed specifications
Watch-outs
- “Kills all mites” and “99.99%” claims
- Price shown first is another variant
- Most expensive up front

68/100
Corded, 450 W
UV + 50 °C hot air
12-month warranty
₱1,869 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: household appliance; no FDA record or advisory found. |
| Specifications stated | Model CM800; corded, 5 m cord; 450 W; about 75 dB; 1.45 kg; 355 x 230 x 165 mm; UV lamp; 50 °C hot air; 8,000 beats per minute; HEPA filter (attribute); packing list |
| Claims | “Uv-ray removal, 99 9% erase rate” |
| Inconsistencies | Suction is 13,000 Pa in the title and description but 18,000 Pa in the attributes; rated voltage is 200 V in the description and 220 V in the attributes; a “20 mins” run time is listed for a corded machine. |
| Seller | Deerma Philippines official shop (on Shopee since October 2020, 854K followers, 4.91 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.90 from 15,247 ratings; search shows 40K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱1,869 (19 October 2026); 12-month warranty |
The Deerma CM800 is the cheapest of the four and by far the most bought, with more than 15,000 ratings on its official listing. It is the only pick whose listing says it has a HEPA filter (as an attribute), and it is the lightest at 1.45 kg.
The listing contradicts itself on suction (13,000 or 18,000 Pa) and voltage, and parts of it read as machine translation. Treat the suction figure as the lower one. The “99.9%” UV claim has no test behind it.
Why it scored well
- Lowest price
- HEPA filter (attribute)
- Over 15,000 ratings
Watch-outs
- Suction stated two different ways
- Voltage and run-time errors
- “99.9%” claim unsourced

66/100
Corded, 400 W
14,000 Pa, 0.5 L cup
12-month warranty (with membership)
₱2,699 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: household appliance; no FDA record or advisory found. |
| Specifications stated | Model HSM-Y201(W); 400 W; 14,000 Pa; 0.5 L dust cup; 4 m cord; 55 °C hot air; 5-layer filtration; washable filter; LED UV; high-frequency beating |
| Claims | UV “eliminates live mites”; “approximately 80% of allergy sufferers worldwide react to dust mites”; back acne and rashes “may result from bacteria spread by mites”; a “special threat to infants” |
| Inconsistencies | The price shown first (₱2,199) is the HSM-Y101 variant; the Y201 in the title costs ₱2,699. The 1-year warranty is offered after joining the shop’s membership. Typo “Vocuum”. |
| Seller | Haier Small Appliances official shop (on Shopee since October 2023, 115K followers, 4.91 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.95 from 2,573 ratings; search shows 8K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱2,699 for the Y201 (Y101 ₱2,199) on 19 October 2026 |
Haier is the best-known appliance brand here, sold from its own official shop, and the listing gives the core specifications, including the dust-cup size and cord length that others leave out. The washable filter keeps running costs down.
It makes the most health claims, from an unsourced “80% of allergy sufferers” figure to blaming back acne and infant rashes on mites. The warranty is tied to joining the shop’s membership, and the lower price shown first is for a different model (Y101).
Why it scored well
- Well-known brand
- Dust cup and cord length stated
- Washable filter
Watch-outs
- Most unsupported health claims
- Warranty tied to membership
- Price shown first is another model
How to choose a dust mite vacuum
- Start with covers and hot washing (see above); add a vacuum for mattresses, sofas and curtains.
- Look for a stated HEPA filter if someone in the home has allergies. Only Deerma states one among our picks.
- Compare warranty, not just price: about ₱1,869 per warranty year for Deerma, ₱3,050 for Dreame and ₱3,099 for Xiaomi on 19 October 2026.
- Choose the exact variant. On Dreame and Haier, the lower price shown first belongs to a different model.
- Ignore suction claims far above 20,000 Pa on unknown brands; the known brands quote 12,000 to 15,500 Pa.
- Do not look at the UV lamp, and keep it off skin, pets and children. Use the machine on fabric only, as the maker’s manual directs. This is general advice.
- Have someone without the allergy do the vacuuming, and air the room afterwards.
How we researched this guide
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list for dust mite vacuum, mite remover and UV bed vacuum on October 19, 2026, then searched Shopee by keyword and by brand and read each listing in full. We checked the FDA Philippines verification portal for records and advisories; none applies to these appliances, so we relied on brand, store and warranty evidence. We scored products with our published rubric: provenance (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We did not use or test any product.
No pick reaches 90, and the four are close, because every listing makes untested mite or germ claims and three show contradictions or a mismatched price. The allergy section is general information, not medical advice. This guide has not yet been reviewed by our health content reviewer, and we have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for this category.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best dust mite vacuum in the Philippines?
In our review the Xiaomi Dust Mite Vacuum 2 scored highest (73/100): clear specifications, modest claims and an authorized Xiaomi store, at ₱3,099.
Do dust mite vacuums really kill mites?
They vacuum, beat and heat the fabric surface, and some add a UV lamp. None of the listings shows a test for its kill or removal percentage. Allergy groups put mite-proof covers and 60 °C washing first.
Does the UV light work?
The listings claim 90% to 99.99% but give no test. UV acts on the surface it shines on; mites and allergen deep in a mattress are another matter.
Is a dust mite vacuum good for allergies?
It can be part of a routine. Cambridge University Hospitals NHS advises weekly vacuuming, ideally by someone without the allergy, with a HEPA vacuum that does not blow dust out.
Should the person with allergies do the vacuuming?
Ideally not. The National Asthma Council Australia says vacuuming raises airborne mite allergen for up to 20 minutes.
What else reduces dust mites?
Mite-proof covers, washing bedding at 60 °C, keeping humidity under 50%, and fewer soft toys on the bed, according to CUH NHS.
Do anti-mite sprays work?
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS says acaricide sprays are not recommended, as they are of limited help.
Which dust mite vacuum has the longest warranty?
Dreame D20 Pro states 24 months; Xiaomi, Deerma and Haier state 12 months (Haier after joining its membership).
Why does the Dreame listing show ₱3,989?
That is the S10 variant. The D20 Pro in the title costs ₱6,099.
Do these vacuums need FDA registration?
No. They are household appliances; we found no FDA Philippines record or advisory for dust mite vacuums.
Are cordless "99000Pa" mite vacuums better?
Those suction figures are far above what Xiaomi, Dreame, Deerma and Haier quote (12,000 to 18,000 Pa), so treat them with caution.
Did you test these vacuums?
No. We read the listings, checked the shops and the FDA portal, and scored what the sellers put in writing.
