Our verdict
The Philips Massage Gun PPM7323 (81/100, ₱1,872) is the one we would buy first: full specs, a clear safety warning and the lowest price. Xiaomi Fascia Gun 2 Mini (77) has the best warranty support, and Beurer MG 55 (72) has the longest warranty and a long handle for your back.
Most of the best-selling massage guns on Shopee are little-known brands, sometimes from official-looking shops; we did not rank brands we could not verify. TENS “massagers” are medical devices and are not covered here. This is general information, not medical advice.
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list and Shopee search for massage guns and handheld massagers on October 18, 2026, by brand (Philips, Xiaomi, Beurer, Hyperice, Omron, Ogawa, OSIM) and by store, and read each listing in full. We kept known brands sold by an official or Mall store and compared them on specifications, warranty and claims.

Ranked listings that warn you where not to use the massager. Only Philips does; Xiaomi’s title even suggests neck massage.

Using a massage gun safely
These points come from a University of Utah Health article in which physical therapist Josh Fuhriman explains how to use massage guns safely. General information, not medical advice.
- Keep it off bony areas such as the chest and rib cage; pressing on bony points can irritate tendons and bursae.
- Be especially careful on the front of the neck, where arteries, nerves and veins are located. Avoid the groin.
- Do not use it over bruises, cuts, abrasions or scabs.
- Limit use to about two to three minutes on any one muscle group or area.
- It is a quick feel-good treatment, but it will not replace a trained professional. For pain that does not go away, see a doctor or physical therapist.
General precaution: if you take blood thinners, have had a blood clot, are pregnant, have reduced feeling in your legs or feet, or have metal implants, ask your doctor before using a massage gun.
Do massagers need FDA registration?
Not ordinary massage guns and tapping massagers. When we searched the FDA Philippines verification portal on 18 October 2026, the massager records we found were for a thermal massager and an ultrasound therapy device, and FDA advisories named unnotified TENS-type “massagers” (for example Advisory 2024-0655). TENS units send electrical pulses through pads and are medical devices; they are a different product and are not covered here. For a massage gun, the checks that matter are the brand, the store and the warranty.
What the claims on these listings actually mean
| Claim | What it covers | Key exclusion |
|---|---|---|
| Thrust (kg) and amplitude (mm) | How hard and how deep the head strikes (Philips states 6 kg, 8 mm) | Only one of four listings gives these numbers |
| “Deep tissue”, “loosens the deep fascia” | A description of strong percussion | Not a medical effect; no evidence given |
| “Reduce recovery time”, “increase circulation” | Performance claims (Hyperice) | No study or test named on the listing |
| “1 Year Xiaomi Official Warranty” | Repair through Xiaomi Philippines service centres | Check the receipt and serial; the 7-day and 15-day terms are separate |
| “Warranty 3 years” | Beurer’s stated cover | Conditions are in the manual, not the listing |
| “CE” | A European conformity marking | Not a Philippine certification |
| “Official shop” | Shopee’s badge for the store | Several official shops sell little-known brands; the badge is not a brand check |
Massager listings we would be careful with
| Product | What we found | Our check |
|---|---|---|
| OOKAS, Goldstar, Dreepor and similar budget massage guns | Best-selling guns from ₱299 to ₱499 (OOKAS shows 60K+ sold), sold from shops with Shopee’s official badge, but we found no brand record beyond the shops themselves. | Not scored: unverified brands |
| Han River, Atmos Fit, Hodekt and other store brands | Large official or Mall shops (Han River 292K followers), but brands known mainly through their own shops. | Not scored: brand not verifiable |
| Unbranded “fascia guns” with 6 to 99 speeds | Offer-list items with no brand or with speed counts far beyond the known brands, mostly from cross-border shops. | Not scored: unverified sellers |
| Xiaomi and Philips massage guns from other shops | Offer-list listings from unknown shops, including a Xiaomi Mini at ₱5,642 that the authorized store sells for ₱3,249, and a Philips mini gun with no shop identified. | Not scored: buy from the authorized store |
| Theragun- and Hypervolt-named listings from regular shops | A Theragun-named gun shipped from mainland China, and Hypervolt listings from regular shops with 0 sold. | Not scored: unclear source |
| TENS “massagers” (for example Omron HV-F021 from resellers) | Electrical nerve stimulators are medical devices; FDA advisories have named unnotified TENS massagers. | Not covered: a medical device, not a handheld massager |
Our picks

81/100
Best overall: full specs and a real safety warning
1. Philips Massage Gun PPM7323, 6 kg thrust, 6 heads (Philips Massage Philippines)
ShopeeMassage gun
6 kg thrust, 8 mm amplitude
12-month warranty
₱1,872 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: massage guns are not registered as medical devices in the Philippines. We checked the FDA portal and found records only for TENS, ultrasound and thermal massagers. |
| Specifications stated | Model PPM3203G/PPM7323; 6 kg thrust; 8 mm amplitude; 2,800 rpm; 7 levels; 30 W; 1,500 mAh, about 120 min per charge; about 0.7 kg; 6 heads; warranty card in the box. 8 kg versions: 2,500 mAh, 130 min, 15-minute auto timer. |
| Claims | “Professional-level deep relaxation”, “loosening the deep fascia”; and a warning: “Do not use on weak muscle parts such as spine, neck, head, joints, bones” |
| Inconsistencies | “Chinese/English version will be shipped randomly”; a “SIRIM Certified = No” attribute (a Malaysian mark) and a 24-month “shelf life” on an appliance. |
| Seller | Philips Massage Philippines official shop (on Shopee since March 2023, 38K followers, 4.90 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.93 from 9,783 ratings; search shows 30K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱1,872 (6 kg, 6 heads); ₱2,308 (8 kg, 3 heads); ₱2,619 (8 kg, 6 heads) on 18 October 2026 |
Philips gives the most complete specifications of any listing we read: thrust, amplitude, speed, battery, charging time, weight, size and what is in the box. It is also the only listing that tells you where not to use it (spine, neck, head, joints, bones), which matches the safety advice below. It is the cheapest of the four and has by far the most ratings.
The note that Chinese or English versions ship “randomly” means your box and manual may not be in English. The shop is a Philips-branded official store that also sells a non-Philips herbal massage hammer, so read the warranty card when it arrives. A 12-month supplier warranty is shorter than Beurer’s three years.
Why it scored well
- Full specifications
- States where not to use it
- Lowest price; most ratings
Watch-outs
- Box and manual may be in Chinese
- 12-month supplier warranty only
- Shop also sells non-Philips items
Best warranty support: Xiaomi service centres
2. Xiaomi Mijia Fascia Gun 2 Mini MJJMQ03YM (Authorized Xiaomi Mall PH)
Shopee77/100
Mini massage gun
3 heads + storage bag
1-year Xiaomi PH warranty
₱3,249 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: massage guns are not registered as medical devices in the Philippines. |
| Specifications stated | Model MJJMQ03YM; 101 x 130 x 45 mm; 1,900 mAh; Type-C; 2 modes; 15-minute timer; overcurrent, pressure and temperature protection; 3 heads and storage bag |
| Claims | “Intelligent force prompt”, “30 day extended range”; “1 Year Xiaomi Official Warranty” at any Xiaomi Service Centre; “authenticated directly from Xiaomi Philippines” |
| Inconsistencies | Grey ₱3,249 and white ₱4,999 for the same model. The title says “Neck Massage”. Weight, thrust, amplitude and number of speeds are not stated. |
| Seller | Authorized Xiaomi Mall PH, Shopee Mall (on Shopee since July 2023, 393K followers, 4.90 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.86 from 340 ratings; search shows 1K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱3,249 (grey); ₱4,999 (white) on 18 October 2026 |
Xiaomi has the clearest after-sales promise: a one-year warranty from Xiaomi Philippines that you can claim at any Xiaomi Service Centre, plus 7-day replacement and 15-day returns. It is sold from an authorized Xiaomi Mall store, and it is small enough to carry in a bag. Its built-in timer and pressure protection are sensible safety features.
The listing leaves out the numbers that let you compare massage guns: weight, thrust and amplitude. The white version costs ₱1,750 more than the grey for the same model. The title invites neck use; the University of Utah Health advice is to be especially careful on the front of the neck.
Why it scored well
- Xiaomi Philippines warranty and service centres
- Compact, with carry bag
- Timer and pressure protection
Watch-outs
- No thrust, amplitude or weight
- White version costs ₱1,750 more
- Title suggests neck use

72/100
Tapping wand
Heat function
3-year warranty
About ₱1,642 per warranty year
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: tapping and vibration massagers are not registered as medical devices in the Philippines. |
| Specifications stated | Tapping massage; continuously adjustable intensity; separate heat function; 3 threaded attachments; non-slip handle; 20 W; 9.5 x 43.5 x 9.5 cm; CE marking; 3-year warranty (conditions in the manual) |
| Claims | “Penetrates the deeper layers of muscle to help create a feeling of deep relaxation” |
| Not stated | Weight; whether it is corded (no battery is mentioned); whether the shop is Beurer’s distributor |
| Seller | Endure Official Store (on Shopee since March 2023, 2.6K followers, 4.93 shop rating, 96% response). Listing 5.0 from 1 rating; 3 sold. |
| Price | ₱4,927, about ₱1,642 per year of warranty (18 October 2026) |
Beurer is a German health-products brand, and the MG 55 is the classic long-handled “handheld massager”: a tapping head on a 43.5 cm wand, with optional heat. The long handle makes it easier to reach your own back than a massage gun. Its three-year warranty is the longest here, which makes it the cheapest per year of cover.
Almost nobody has bought it on Shopee yet (one rating, three sold), and the shop does not say whether it is Beurer’s official distributor. The listing gives no weight and does not mention a battery, so expect a cord. Keep the warranty conditions from the manual.
Why it scored well
- 3-year warranty
- Long handle reaches the back
- Optional heat
Watch-outs
- Only 1 rating on Shopee
- Shop’s link to Beurer not stated
- Likely corded; weight not given

55/100
Premium option, if you accept the gaps
4. Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Massage Gun (Dan’s Philippines)
ShopeeMassage gun
Brushless 60 W, Bluetooth
No warranty stated
₱19,790
| FDA status | No FDA check applies: massage guns are not registered as medical devices in the Philippines. |
| Specifications stated | 3 speeds; 7.5 x 2.5 x 9.5 in; 3-hour battery; 1.8 lb; Bluetooth; brushless 60 W motor; 5 heads; pressure sensor |
| Claims | “Increase circulation”, “Reduce recovery time”, “Improve range of motion and flexibility”, “near silent operation” |
| Not stated | Warranty; whether the shop is Hyperice’s distributor |
| Seller | Dan’s Philippines official shop (on Shopee since October 2019, 41K followers, 4.95 shop rating, 0% chat response rate). This listing: 0 ratings, 1 sold, listed July 2026. |
| Price | ₱19,790 (18 October 2026) |
Hyperice is a well-known sports-recovery brand, and the Hypervolt 2 listing gives clear specifications: motor, battery, weight, speeds and attachments. It is the only pick with Bluetooth and a pressure sensor.
It costs more than ten times the Philips, the listing states no warranty, the shop answered 0% of chats, and this listing has no ratings yet. Its claims about circulation and recovery time are stated as facts with no evidence. If you want a premium gun, ask the shop in writing about warranty and distributor status before you pay.
Why it scored well
- Clear specifications
- Brushless motor, pressure sensor
- Known brand
Watch-outs
- No warranty stated
- Shop does not answer chats
- Recovery claims without evidence
How to choose a handheld massager
- Pick the shape for the job: a massage gun for strong, targeted percussion on large muscles; a long-handled tapping massager like the Beurer MG 55 for reaching your own back.
- Compare stated numbers: thrust, amplitude, weight and battery time. A listing that gives none of them is asking you to guess.
- Read the warranty, not the badge. Who honours it (the brand in the Philippines, a supplier, or nobody named) matters more than the “official” label.
- Divide the price by the warranty years: about ₱1,642 per year for Beurer, ₱1,872 for Philips and ₱3,249 for Xiaomi on 18 October 2026.
- Choose a model with a timer or auto shut-off if you tend to overdo it; Xiaomi and the 8 kg Philips have a 15-minute timer.
- Avoid the neck front, bones, bruises and cuts, and keep each area to two to three minutes (general advice, see above).
How we researched this guide
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list for massage gun, handheld massager and percussion massager, and by brand, on October 18, 2026, then searched Shopee by keyword and inside brand stores and read each listing in full. We checked the FDA Philippines verification portal for massager records and advisories; none applies to massage guns, so we relied on brand, store and warranty evidence. We scored products with our published rubric: provenance (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We did not use or test any product.
No pick reaches 90: each listing leaves out something basic, such as warranty, key specifications or who stands behind the product. We found no official OSIM or Ogawa handheld massager store on Shopee. The safety section is general information, not medical advice. This guide has not yet been reviewed by our health content reviewer, and we have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for this category.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best handheld massager in the Philippines?
In our review the Philips Massage Gun PPM7323 scored highest (81/100): it states full specifications and where not to use it, and it costs ₱1,872 from Philips' Philippine massage store.
Massage gun or tapping massager?
A massage gun gives strong, targeted percussion. A long-handled tapping massager such as the Beurer MG 55 is gentler to hold and easier to use on your own back, and it adds heat.
Do massage guns need FDA registration?
No. Ordinary massage guns are not registered as medical devices in the Philippines; TENS units are, and they are a different product.
Can I use a massage gun on my neck?
University of Utah Health advises being especially careful on the front of the neck, where arteries, nerves and veins are. Philips warns against using its gun on the neck at all.
How long should I use a massage gun?
About two to three minutes on each muscle group, according to University of Utah Health. Xiaomi and the 8 kg Philips stop automatically after 15 minutes.
Who should not use a massage gun?
As a general precaution, ask your doctor first if you take blood thinners, have had a blood clot, are pregnant, have reduced feeling in your limbs or have metal implants.
Does a massage gun speed up recovery?
Some listings say so, but none gives evidence. A physical therapist quoted by University of Utah Health calls it a quick feel-good treatment that will not replace a professional.
Which has the best warranty?
Beurer MG 55 states three years. Xiaomi states one year through Xiaomi Philippines service centres; Philips states 12 months from the supplier; the Hyperice listing states none.
Why are the cheapest massage guns not ranked?
Guns from ₱299 to ₱499 sell in huge numbers, but we could not verify the brands beyond their own shops.
Is the white Xiaomi Fascia Gun 2 Mini better than the grey?
The listing shows the same model; on 18 October 2026 the white cost ₱4,999 and the grey ₱3,249.
Why is the Philips box in Chinese?
The listing says Chinese or English versions ship randomly. Ask the shop for an English manual if you need one.
Did you test these massagers?
No. We read the listings, checked the shops and the FDA portal, and scored what the sellers put in writing.
