Our verdict
7Grains Organic Edamame Protein Pasta (67/100, about ₱94.50 per 100 g) is the one organic pasta we can recommend from Shopee: exact FDA registration, two ingredients, a long-standing seller. Better Than Pasta organic konjac spaghetti (64) is registered too, but its “zero carbs” and coeliac claims need care.
We found many registered organic pastas in the FDA database, mostly imported by Healthy Options, but on Shopee they were either missing or sold by brand-new shops with no sales. Neither pick names its organic certifier. This is general information, not dietary advice.
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list and Shopee search for organic pasta and spaghetti on October 20, 2026, by brand (Field Day, Cucina & Amore, Alce Nero, Riscossa, Granoro, Berruto, Markal) and in large retailers’ stores, and looked each one up in the FDA Philippines food registry.

What “organic” should mean on a pasta label in the Philippines
The Organic Agriculture Act of 2010 (Republic Act 10068) was amended by Republic Act 11511, signed in December 2020. According to summaries of the amended law from IFOAM Organics International and Digest PH, products may be labelled organic when certified by a certifying body accredited by the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards or guaranteed through a Participatory Guarantee System, organic labels should carry the certifier’s name or mark, and organic processed food is registered with the FDA. We could not read the full official text, so check with the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards for the exact rules.
- An FDA registration shows the pasta is registered as food; it does not by itself prove the organic claim.
- Look for a certifier’s name or seal on the pack (for imported pasta, often an EU or USDA organic mark), not just the word “organic”.
- Watch for brand names that contain the word: one listing sells konjac pasta as “Better Than Organic”, while its registration names the brand “Better Than Pasta”.
- Organic describes how the ingredients were grown; it is not a nutrition claim. Compare the nutrition table on the pack, not the word organic.
What the claims on these listings actually mean
| Claim | What it covers | Key exclusion |
|---|---|---|
| “Organic” | The seller says the ingredients are organically grown | Neither ranked listing names a certifier |
| “Zero carbs” | Very few digestible carbohydrates (Better Than) | Oat fibre is a carbohydrate; no nutrition table shown |
| “Safe for coeliacs”, “100% gluten-free” | The seller’s description | The same listing says it contains oat; no gluten-free certification named |
| “Less than half the carbs … two times the protein” | A comparison with “other regular pasta brands” (7Grains) | No figures, brand or test given |
| “GMO free”, “no additives” | What the seller says is absent | No test or certificate shown |
| “Guilt-free”, “healthier choice” | Marketing wording | Not a health or nutrition standard |
Organic pasta listings we would be careful with
| Product | What we found | Our check |
|---|---|---|
| Field Day organic pasta from new Parañaque shops | Field Day organic pastas are registered by Healthy Options Corporation, but the Shopee listings we found came from several brand-new shops with 0 sold, priced ₱821 to ₱1,158 for one pack, plus one Malaysian shop. Healthy Options itself did not list them. | Not scored: buy from Healthy Options directly |
| Little Pasta Organics (animal and teddy shapes) | Sold by Yummy Organics and The Vegan Grocer; we found no FDA registration for it. The listing says “Allergens in bold” but no allergen is marked. | Not scored: no registration found |
| Alce Nero, Riscossa organic whole wheat, Bartolini | Sold from shops in Malaysia, Japan or Vietnam. Riscossa’s regular pastas are registered (Educar Distribution), but we found no record for its organic whole-wheat line. | Not scored: cross-border; no matching record |
| Granoro BiO, Berruto, Markal | Organic pastas on the offer list from sellers we could not identify; we found no FDA registration for these brands. | Not scored: no registration found |
| Wild Harvest Organic Spaghetti | FDA Advisory No. 2024-0593 (11 April 2024) warns against it as an unregistered food product. | Not scored: FDA advisory |
| Baby and toddler organic pastas | Imported baby pastas such as Bio Junior and Dalla Costa Baby, mostly from cross-border shops. | Not covered: separate topic; ask your paediatrician |
Our picks

67/100
Edamame bean pasta
Dry, 200 g
FDA-registered
About ₱94.50 per 100 g
| FDA status | Registered food: “ORGANIC EDAMAME PROTEIN PASTA”, 7Grains Company Inc., FR-4000013168162, valid to 25 July 2029. FDA advisories in 2019 named other 7Grains products as unregistered; both were lifted in 2021 after registration. |
| Specifications stated | Ingredients: organic green soybeans (edamame) 92%, water 8%; 200 g; shelf life 12 months; best before 30 January 2028; 4 to 5 minutes boiling |
| Claims | “Less than half the carbohydrates, six times the fiber and two times the protein compared to other regular pasta brands”; “guilt-free”; organic |
| Inconsistencies | A best-before date of 30 January 2028 does not fit a 12-month shelf life from today. No organic certifier and no nutrition table are given. |
| Seller | Raw Bites PH, a regular shop on Shopee since May 2019 (66K followers, 4.92 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.93 from 226 ratings; search shows 1K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱189 for 200 g, about ₱94.50 per 100 g (20 October 2026); The Vegan Grocer Ph sells it at ₱225 |
This is the only dry organic pasta we found on Shopee that exactly matches a current FDA registration and comes from a long-standing seller. Its ingredient list is short (edamame and water), and it is a high-protein, gluten-free alternative to wheat pasta rather than an Italian-style spaghetti.
The listing does not name an organic certifying body, so you cannot confirm the “organic” from Shopee alone; check the pack for a certifier’s name or mark. The carb, fibre and protein comparisons have no figures behind them, and the best-before date does not match the stated shelf life. It is expensive per 100 g compared with ordinary pasta.
Why it scored well
- Exact FDA registration
- Two-ingredient list
- Long-standing shop
Watch-outs
- No organic certifier named
- Comparisons without numbers
- Best-before and shelf life do not match

64/100
Konjac and oat fibre
Packed in water, 385 g
FDA-registered (close name)
About ₱41.30 per 100 g as packed
| FDA status | Registered food: “SPAGHETTI (ORGANIC)”, brand Better Than Pasta, 123Box Inc., FR-4000010567663, valid to 31 March 2031. The listing calls the brand “Better Than Organic”, so this is a close match. |
| Specifications stated | Ingredients: water, organic konjac flour, organic oat fibre; 385 g; best before 24 August 2028; made in China; ready in 1 to 2 minutes |
| Claims | “Organic”, “Gluten Free … safe for coeliacs”, “Zero Carbs”, “Fat Free”, “Sugar Free”, “Low Calorie” |
| Inconsistencies | Says “This product contains oat” and also “safe for coeliacs”, with no gluten-free certification named. “Zero Carbs” sits beside oat fibre, which is a carbohydrate. No drained weight, nutrition table or organic certifier. |
| Seller | Raw Bites PH (on Shopee since May 2019, 66K followers, 4.92 shop rating, 100% response). Listing 4.89 from 362 ratings; search shows 2K+ sold. |
| Price | ₱159 for 385 g, about ₱41.30 per 100 g as packed (20 October 2026) |
Better Than Pasta is registered as an organic spaghetti, and its ingredient list is simple: water, organic konjac flour and organic oat fibre. It is a ready-to-heat pasta alternative for people cutting calories, not a durum-wheat pasta, and it is the cheaper of the two per 100 g as packed.
Its claims need care. “Zero carbs” is not accurate when oat fibre is an ingredient, and calling an oat-containing product “safe for coeliacs” without a gluten-free certification is a claim people with coeliac disease should check with the maker. The 385 g includes packing water, and the listing gives no drained weight.
Why it scored well
- Registered as an organic spaghetti
- Short ingredient list
- Cheaper per 100 g
Watch-outs
- “Zero carbs” with oat fibre
- Coeliac claim without certification
- Weight includes packing water
How to choose organic pasta
- Look for a named organic certifier or seal on the pack. Neither Shopee listing we ranked names one.
- Check the exact product name in the FDA verification portal; many imported organic pastas are registered, mostly by Healthy Options.
- Decide what you want: a durum-wheat organic pasta (best bought from a store such as Healthy Options), a bean pasta for protein (7Grains), or a konjac pasta for fewer calories (Better Than Pasta).
- Compare like with like: dry pasta per 100 g, and konjac pasta by drained weight if the pack gives it.
- Be wary of very high prices from new shops with no sales, even for a real brand.
- If you have coeliac disease, look for a gluten-free certification rather than a listing claim, especially for products containing oats. This is general advice.
How we researched this guide
We searched the Shopee affiliate offer list for organic pasta, organic spaghetti and organic whole-wheat pasta on October 20, 2026, then searched Shopee by keyword, by brand and inside S&R’s store, and read each listing in full. We looked each brand up in the food registry and advisories of the FDA Philippines verification portal. We scored products with our published rubric: provenance and registration (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We did not taste or test any product.
Only two products met our rule of a matching FDA registration from a long-standing seller, so we ranked two. The top score is 67 because neither listing names an organic certifier and both have claim or consistency problems. Our summary of the organic law is based on secondary sources. This guide has not yet been reviewed by our health content reviewer, and we have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for this category.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best organic pasta in the Philippines?
On Shopee, 7Grains Organic Edamame Protein Pasta scored highest in our review (67/100): it exactly matches an FDA registration and is sold by a long-standing shop. For Italian-style organic wheat pasta, registered imports are mostly sold through Healthy Options.
Is organic pasta healthier than regular pasta?
Organic describes how the ingredients were grown; it is not a nutrition claim. Bean and konjac pastas are made from different ingredients from wheat pasta, so compare the nutrition tables on the packs.
How do I know pasta is really organic?
Look for a named organic certifier or seal on the pack. Summaries of the Philippine organic law say organic labels should carry the certifier's name or mark.
Is FDA registration proof of organic?
No. It shows the product is registered as food. The organic claim depends on certification.
Is konjac pasta really zero carbs?
The Better Than Pasta listing says so, but it contains oat fibre, which is a carbohydrate, and gives no nutrition table.
Is Better Than Pasta safe for coeliacs?
The listing says it is and also that it contains oat. No gluten-free certification is named, so people with coeliac disease should check with the maker.
Is edamame pasta gluten-free?
The 7Grains listing says its pasta is made from edamame and water, with no wheat. Check the pack for allergen and cross-contact information.
Why are Field Day organic pastas not ranked?
They are registered by Healthy Options, but the Shopee listings we found came from new shops with no sales and very high prices.
Is Wild Harvest organic spaghetti safe to buy?
FDA Advisory 2024-0593 warns against it as an unregistered food product.
Which organic pasta is cheapest?
Per 100 g as packed, Better Than Pasta (about ₱41.30) is cheaper than 7Grains (about ₱94.50), but konjac pasta is packed in water, so the two are not directly comparable.
How long does edamame pasta last?
The 7Grains listing states a 12-month shelf life and a best-before date of 30 January 2028; check the date on the pack you receive.
Did you taste these pastas?
No. We read the listings, checked the shops and the FDA registry, and scored what the sellers put in writing.
