Our verdict
“Glass skin” is a look, not a medical goal, and the part of the routine that works is simple: a gentle cleanser, hydration, a moisturiser and a daily sunscreen. Dermatologists quoted in the pages we read say pores cannot be removed, more steps do not reliably give better skin, and daily SPF 30 or higher is the least controversial part. We checked the K-beauty products on Shopee against the FDA Philippines cosmetic notifications and ranked only brands with an exact-name notification, no FDA advisory and an official shop. Seven products qualified. Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum (84/100) was the best documented, and Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water (79/100) and Torriden Dive In Serum (78/100) complete a simple hydration core.
For sunscreen we scored Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun (77/100), for a gel moisturiser Torriden Dive In Soothing Cream (77/100), for a cleanser SKIN1004 Poremizing Foam (77/100), and Anua Rice 70 Toner (60/100) has a sloppy listing. Several famous brands did not qualify: COSRX, Innisfree and Laneige have FDA advisories on other products, Belif has no notification we could find, and Round Lab’s best-sellers did not match. This is general information, not medical advice.
Glass skin is the Korean beauty look of smooth, even, luminous skin that seems to reflect light. It sells a lot of serums, toners and sets in the Philippines, with listings that promise to “shrink pores” and “whiten”, and a trend whose most viral videos, a 2026 dermatology congress study found, contained misleading claims in nearly 95% of cases. We wanted to know which products are worth buying, so we asked three things: is the exact product notified with the FDA, is the brand free of FDA advisories, and does the listing tell you what is in it?
4 of 10
popular K-beauty brands we checked had products we could rank: Beauty of Joseon, Torriden, SKIN1004 and Anua. COSRX (2 advisories), Innisfree (6) and Laneige (1) were ruled out by FDA advisories on other products, Belif had no notification we could find, Round Lab’s Dokdo toner and Birch Juice sunscreen did not match one even though the listings say “FDA Approved”, and Klairs was clean but we did not read its listings.

What glass skin actually is, and what dermatologists say
These points come from search summaries of dermatologists quoted in news coverage, including a CNN report of 8 October 2026, Clarins’ and Gulf News guides and an American Academy of Dermatology comment, not from the original sources. Several are from brand pages, so treat them as general advice.
- It is a look, not a clinical term. A dermatologist quoted describes it as skin that reflects light, and not as poreless or very shiny.
- Pores cannot be removed. Another dermatologist says pore-less skin is not possible, since pores are genetic and do not respond to layering products. A listing that promises to “shrink pores” is promising something no product does.
- More products are not better. The American Academy of Dermatology considers moisturising a positive step but says problems occur when people use too many products, with clogged pores, irritation and breakouts.
- Hydration is the foundation. Hyaluronic acid serums, essences and gel creams are the common choices: a light, concentrated hydrating serum, a moisturiser, then a barrier cream if the skin is dry.
- Sunscreen is the least controversial step. A dermatologist quoted advises broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day, and notes that sun damage is one of the biggest factors dulling skin.
- Go slowly with actives and exfoliation. Over-exfoliating can disrupt the skin’s own cycle. A simple routine from one dermatologist is a cleanser, one active introduced slowly (such as retinol, salicylic acid or vitamin C), a moisturiser and SPF.
- Give it months. Sources disagree on timing, from 4 to 12 weeks for visible change. Stop a product that irritates, and see a dermatologist for persistent concerns.
- Misinformation is common. A study presented at a 2026 dermatology congress found nearly 95% of the most viral videos on the trend contained misleading claims, and none were by dermatologists.
A simple glass-skin routine from our picks
| Step | Our pick | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Morning and night: cleanse | SKIN1004 Poremizing Deep Cleansing Foam (or a gentler cleanser if your skin is dry) | ₱459 |
| Hydrate: essence or toner | Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water | ₱960 (150 ml assumed) |
| Serum | Torriden Dive In Serum for hydration; Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum if you want a brightening step | ₱561; ₱880 |
| Moisturise | Torriden Dive In Soothing Cream | ₱620 |
| Morning: sunscreen | Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun SPF50 | ₱936 |
| A basic five-product routine | Foam, essence, Torriden serum, cream, sunscreen | About ₱3,540 for months of use |
What the claims on these listings actually mean
| Claim | What it covers | Key exclusion |
|---|---|---|
| “FDA approved” | A regulator’s approval | In the Philippines the FDA notifies cosmetics; it does not approve them. The titles of SKIN1004 and Round Lab products say it anyway |
| “Shrinks pores”, “poreless” | A claim about pore size | Dermatologists say pores are genetic and cannot be removed by products |
| “Whitening”, “fades dark spots” | A skin-lightening claim | Real lightening ingredients (alpha arbutin, niacinamide, vitamin C) work slowly and need sunscreen; very cheap whitening sets deserve suspicion |
| “Glass skin” on a set or kit | Marketing for a bundle | No kit produces a result by itself; see the routine above |
| “Organic”, “non-chemical”, “naturally derived” | Marketing words or specification ticks | Everything is a chemical. We found these ticks on products whose ingredients are synthetic, including a sunscreen with chemical UV filters |
| “Hypoallergenic”, “dermatologist tested” | A brand statement | Not a guarantee that your skin will not react. Patch test |
| “Vegan certified”, “cruelty-free” | A certification or policy claim | Check who certified it; it says nothing about how well the product works or whether it is safe |
| “SPF50 PA++++” | A rating from a test | The listings give no test report; apply generously and reapply |
K-beauty listings we would be careful with
| Product or brand | What we found | Our check |
|---|---|---|
| COSRX products (Snail 96 Mucin, AHA/BHA toner, Snail 92 cream, sunscreen and others) | Many notified COSRX products exist, but the FDA has named a COSRX lip plumper (2023-1958) and a COSRX acne pimple master patch (2022-2064) as unauthorized cosmetics. The listings we saw were from “[COSRX OFFICIAL]”. | Brand has advisories on other products; not ranked |
| Innisfree masks and skin care | The FDA has named several Innisfree masks as unauthorized cosmetics (2023-1429, 2023-1602, 2025-0210, 2025-0605). Innisfree products from the official distributor are notified. | Brand has advisories; not ranked |
| Laneige | A Laneige Water Bank trial kit was named as unnotified (2020-365). Laneige products from the official distributor are notified. | Old advisory; not ranked |
| Belif (LG Beauty official): Numero 10 Essence, Super Drops serums | We found no FDA cosmetic notification under the Belif name. | No notification found |
| Round Lab: 1025 Dokdo Toner, Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen, Birch Juice Moisturizer; titles say “[FDA Approved]” | The only Round Lab notification we found was a Birch Juice sheet mask. We could not match the Dokdo toner or the Birch Juice sunscreen and moisturiser. The portal’s lists are capped, so “not found” is not proof that none exists. | No match for the listed products |
| Klairs, and other Beauty of Joseon, SKIN1004, Torriden and Anua items not read in this guide | These brands have many notified products and we found no FDA advisories for them, but we scored only the seven listings we read. | Not scored |
| “Korean Glass Skin” serums and sets from small shops: Greenika (₱343 and sets), Organic Skin Japan (₱332), Beauty Vault (₱89), Laikou (₱455), Glad2Glow, Glow Glass Beauty, Fresh Skinlab “Tomato Glass Skin” | Titles promise to shrink pores, whiten and fade dark spots, often at prices far below a single branded serum. We did not search these brands one by one on the FDA portal. | Claims we cannot support; not checked |

Exact FDA notification

Brightening step
About ₱29 per ml
| FDA status | A notified “Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum Rice + Alpha-Arbutin” exists (Descorp Inc.), NN-1000011508642, valid to July 2028. The FDA notifies cosmetics; it does not approve them. No FDA advisory found for the brand |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Printed in full: rice bran water, water, glycerin, butylene glycol, alpha-arbutin, niacinamide, panthenol, trehalose and others |
| Directions and warnings | 2 to 3 drops, patted in; “for external use only”; store below 25 C away from sunlight |
| Claims | “68% rice bran water and 2% alpha arbutin”, “designed for individuals dealing with pigmentation issues and uneven skin complexion”, “boost the health of your skin” |
| Seller | Beauty of Joseon PH: 35 months on Shopee, 17.1K ratings, 58.7K followers, 100% response; 4.9 stars from 400 ratings on this listing, 1K+ sold |
| Price | ₱880 for 30 ml (list ₱1,100), about ₱29 per ml |
The best-documented product of the seven: the exact serum is notified with the FDA, the full ingredient list is printed with the two numbers that matter (68% rice bran water, 2% alpha arbutin), and directions and storage are given. The claims stay close to the formula, brightening and evening tone, not to “glass skin” miracles.
It is also the dearest per millilitre, though a few drops go a long way. Alpha arbutin and niacinamide are brightening ingredients with modest evidence, and they do not change pore size. A serum like this does not replace sunscreen: the guide below lists one that goes with it.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Full ingredient list with the key percentages
- Claims limited to tone and brightness
Watch-outs
- About ₱29 per ml, the highest of the seven
- Brightening takes weeks and needs daily sunscreen
- Patch test; a new active can irritate

79/100
Exact FDA notification
Full ingredient list
80% ginseng water
Price by size unclear
| FDA status | A notified “Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water” exists (Descorp Inc.), NN-1000011509414, valid to June 2028, and a second record NN-1000015405918 (valid to November 2027) |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Printed in full: ginseng root water, butylene glycol, glycerin, propanediol, niacinamide, panthenol, allantoin, adenosine, sodium hyaluronate and others |
| Directions and warnings | After cleansing, pour a few drops into the hands and pat on; for external use only; storage below 25 C |
| Claims | “80% ginseng water”, “uniform skin tone”, “long-lasting hydration”; “anti-aging” in the title |
| Specifications | Volume 150 ml; the variation offers 40 ml and 150 ml, and the listing does not say which size the ₱960 price is for |
| Seller | Beauty of Joseon PH: 17.1K ratings, 58.7K followers; 4.9 stars from 1.2K ratings, 4K+ sold |
| Price | ₱960 (list ₱1,200); if that is the 150 ml size, about ₱6.40 per ml |
A light, watery essence with a short, readable ingredient list, matched to an FDA notification. It supplies hydration, the step most “glass skin” advice agrees on.
“Anti-aging” in the title is a stretch for an essence of ginseng water, niacinamide and humectants; treat it as hydration. The listing offers two sizes with one price shown, so check the size and the price you click before you pay.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Short, full ingredient list
- Simple hydration step
Watch-outs
- “Anti-aging” wording in the title
- Price shown for one of two sizes
- Ginseng and fermented extracts can irritate some skin
Best-value hydrating serum
3. Torriden Dive In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum, 50 ml (Torriden Official)
Shopee78/100

Overbroad benefit ticks
| FDA status | A notified “Torriden Dive In Serum” exists (Descorp Inc.), NN-1000015601521, valid to January 2028, and a second record NN-1000015123221 (Vavlon Inc., valid to August 2027). No FDA advisory found for the brand |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Printed in full: water, butylene glycol, glycerin, five forms of hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin, trehalose, betaine, madecassoside, ceramide NP, witch hazel and others |
| Directions | A few drops, layered a couple of times, morning and night |
| Claims | “Deep hydration and moisture glow”, “taut skin relief”, “hydrates and soothes”, “vegan certified”, “not tested on animals” |
| Specifications | Tick “organic” and the benefits “acne/blemishes”, “dark spots/hyperpigmentation”, “dullness”, “puffiness”; shelf life 24 months; origin Korea |
| Seller | torriden.ph (Torriden Official): 5 years on Shopee, 83.2K ratings, 135K followers, 98% response; 4.9 stars from 7K ratings, 10K+ sold, fulfilled by Shopee |
| Price | ₱561 after voucher for 50 ml (list ₱660), about ₱11.20 per ml |
A plain hyaluronic acid serum, the hydration step, from the brand’s own shop with thousands of ratings, an exact FDA notification and a full ingredient list. At about ₱11 per ml it is far cheaper than the serums and essences from the pricier brands.
The specification sheet ticks “organic” for a product whose ingredients include several synthetic compounds, and ticks benefits for acne, dark spots and puffiness that a hydrating serum does not provide. The text itself is modest: hydration and soothing. Ignore the ticks and judge it as a hydrator.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Full ingredient list; official shop with 7K ratings
- About ₱11.20 per ml
Watch-outs
- “Organic” tick and acne, dark-spot and puffiness benefit ticks
- A hydrator, not a treatment
- Two notifications under two companies
Gel cream for humid weather
4. Torriden Dive In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream, 100 ml (Torriden Official)
Shopee77/100

About ₱6.20 per ml
Many plant extracts
| FDA status | A notified “Torriden Dive In Soothing Cream” exists (Descorp Inc.), NN-1000016582344, valid to August 2028; there are also several “Dive In Cream” records |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Printed in full: water, butylene glycol, glycerin, hydrogenated didecene, allantoin, trehalose, witch hazel, panthenol, hyaluronic acids, cetearyl alcohol, many plant extracts (neem, turmeric, lavender, chamomile and others), glutathione |
| Directions and tips | A couple of dollops, morning and night; store in the fridge for a cooling effect; use as a sleeping mask |
| Claims | “Cooling and hydrating”, “replenishing hydration with moisture glow” |
| Specifications | Tick “naturally derived” and the benefits “acne/blemishes”, “dark spots”, “dullness”, “puffiness”; shelf life 24 months; origin Korea |
| Seller | torriden.ph (Torriden Official): 83.2K ratings; 4.9 stars from 3.3K ratings, 10K+ sold, fulfilled by Shopee |
| Price | ₱620 after voucher for 100 ml (list ₱720), about ₱6.20 per ml |
A light gel cream for hot, humid weather, which is exactly what a Philippine glass-skin routine needs, with an exact-name FDA notification and a full list. It is the lowest price per millilitre of the creams we looked at.
The ingredient list carries a long run of plant extracts, plus lavender and witch hazel, which can irritate fragrance- or plant-sensitive skin; patch test it. As with the serum, the benefit ticks (acne, dark spots) are not supported by the text, which promises hydration and cooling.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Light gel texture; fridge tip for hot days
- About ₱6.20 per ml
Watch-outs
- Plant extracts, lavender and witch hazel can irritate
- Overbroad benefit ticks; “naturally derived” tick
- Light gel may be too thin for dry skin

Exact FDA notification
SPF 50 PA++++
Chemical UV filters
Spec contradicts ingredients
| FDA status | A notified “Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics” exists (Descorp Inc.), NN-1000011603073, valid to June 2028; a Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 and a Rice + Niacinamide version are also notified |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Printed in full, including the UV filters: diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, ethylhexyl triazone, methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, diethylhexyl butamido triazone, with 30% rice extract and fermented extracts |
| Directions | Last step of the routine; spread a generous amount on exposed areas |
| Claims | “SPF50 PA++++”, “30% rice extract”, “no white cast”, “calming sensitivity”, “protection against UVA/UVB rays”; calls it an “organic sunscreen” |
| Inconsistency | The specifications tick “non-chemical”, “anti-bacterial” and “hypoallergenic”, yet the ingredients are chemical UV filters; “organic” here is sunscreen jargon for chemical filters |
| Missing | No test report for the SPF and no reapplication instructions |
| Seller | Beauty of Joseon PH: 17.1K ratings; 4.9 stars from 2.7K ratings, 10K+ sold, fulfilled by Shopee |
| Price | ₱936 for 50 ml (list ₱1,200), about ₱18.70 per ml |
The step that matters most for any glowing-skin goal: a lightweight daily sunscreen with an exact FDA notification, a full ingredient list and a high SPF, which the dermatology pages we read treat as the least controversial part of glass skin.
The listing’s tick-boxes are wrong for this product: it is a chemical-filter sunscreen, not a “non-chemical” or “anti-bacterial” one, and “hypoallergenic” is not a promise. It states an SPF without a test report, and you still need to apply a generous amount and reapply after sweating or swimming. At about ₱18.70 per ml it is the costliest sunscreen per ml, but you use it daily.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Full UV-filter list; SPF 50 PA++++
- No white cast, light texture
Watch-outs
- “Non-chemical” and “anti-bacterial” ticks contradict the ingredients
- No SPF test report; no reapplication advice
- About ₱18.70 per ml

Cheapest, with an “FDA Approved” title
6. SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Deep Cleansing Foam, 125 ml
ShopeeExact FDA notification
Official shop, 572K ratings
About ₱3.70 per ml
“FDA Approved” in the title
| FDA status | A notified “SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Deep Cleansing Foam” exists (I-Jin International Inc.), NN-1000014266893, valid to February 2028, and a second record NN-1000016529192 (K4PL Trading, valid to September 2029). No FDA advisory found for the brand |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Printed in full: myristic acid, centella extract, glycerin, water, potassium hydroxide, stearic acid, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, kaolin, papain, rosemary leaf oil, lemon and apple extracts and others |
| Directions and shelf life | Lather on wet palms, massage and rinse with lukewarm water; 12 months after opening, 30 months after manufacture |
| Claims | Removes dirt and impurities “without over-stripping the skin”, centella “soothes sensitive skin”, papain “helps exfoliate”, kaolin “controls excess sebum”; the title says “[FDA Approved]” |
| Inconsistency | The FDA notifies cosmetics; it does not approve them. The list price of ₱1,300 shown with a 65% discount is a permanent-sale tactic |
| Seller | SKIN1004 Official Shop PH: 5 years on Shopee, 572K ratings, 773K followers, 95% response; 4.9 stars from more than 10K ratings, 10K+ sold |
| Price | ₱459 for 125 ml, about ₱3.70 per ml |
The cheapest per millilitre, from the brand’s own shop with half a million ratings, an exact FDA notification, a full ingredient list and an honest shelf-life statement, including the months after opening.
The title says “FDA Approved”, which is not what a cosmetic notification means, and the ₱1,300 “list” price is not a price anyone pays. The formula combines a surfactant (sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate), kaolin, papain, rosemary oil and citrus extracts, which dermatologists would call a deep-cleansing foam, so it can be drying; a gentler cleanser is better for dry or sensitive skin, and the “glass skin” advice is to keep cleansing gentle.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Full ingredient list; shelf life after opening stated
- About ₱3.70 per ml; huge seller record
Watch-outs
- “FDA Approved” wording; inflated list price
- A deep-cleansing foam with kaolin, papain, rosemary oil: can dry skin
- Citrus and rosemary can irritate sensitive skin

Notified, but the listing is sloppy
7. Anua Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner, 250 ml (Anua Philippines)
ShopeeExact FDA notification
No ingredient list
Specifications contradict the text
About ₱6.10 per ml
| FDA status | A notified “Anua Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner” exists (Konnet International (Philippines)), NN-1000013922839, valid to January 2028, plus other records valid to 2028. We found no FDA advisory naming the brand |
| Registration number in listing? | No |
| Ingredients | Not listed in full. The text names rice water, niacinamide, arbutin, ceramide NP and panthenol |
| Claims | “Radiant, glass-skin vibes”, “70% rice water” and, a few lines later, “71% rice bran water”, “brightening, hydrating, strengthening skin barrier” |
| Inconsistency | The specifications give the formulation as “cream”, list “AHA/glycolic acid” among the ingredient preferences, and tick “non-chemical” and “no-rinse” for a toner |
| Seller | Anua Philippines: 20 months on Shopee, 4.2K ratings, 21.5K followers, 100% response; 4.9 stars from 183 ratings on this listing, 838 sold |
| Price | ₱1,514 after voucher for 250 ml (list ₱1,579), about ₱6.10 per ml |
A very popular toner from a brand with many FDA notifications and an official-looking shop. The notified product matches by name, and the idea is simple: a milky, hydrating toner with rice water, niacinamide and ceramide.
The listing is the weakest of the seven: no ingredient list, a rice-water percentage that changes within the text, and specifications that call a milky toner a “cream” containing “AHA/glycolic acid”. If that last point were true it would matter for sun sensitivity, and the listing gives no way to check. The shop is 20 months old with 183 ratings on this listing. Check the ingredient list on the bottle before buying.
Why it scored well
- Exact product notified with the FDA
- Short, clear description of what it is for
- Brand with many notified products and no advisories
Watch-outs
- No ingredient list; AHA/glycolic acid tick unexplained
- 70% vs 71% and “cream” vs toner
- Young shop; 183 ratings on the listing; about ₱6.10 per ml
How to choose and use glass-skin products
- Start with sunscreen and a gentle routine. Cleanse, hydrate, moisturise and apply SPF 30 or higher every morning before adding anything.
- Add one product at a time and patch test it on a small area for a few days.
- Buy from the brand’s own shop and check that the exact product name matches an FDA notification on the portal.
- Read the ingredient list. If a listing has none, look at the box. Watch for fragrance, essential oils and plant extracts if your skin is sensitive.
- Ignore “shrinks pores” and “whitening”. Judge a product by hydration, comfort and what it does over months.
- Use actives slowly, a few nights a week at first, and always with sunscreen in the morning.
- Stop a product if your skin stings, burns or breaks out, and see a dermatologist for acne, rashes or dark patches that do not improve.
How we researched this guide
We searched Shopee for Korean skin care and “glass skin” products on October 13, 2026, then applied our rule: a product is scored only if the exact product has an FDA cosmetic notification, the brand has no FDA advisory naming it, and it is sold by the brand’s own or an official shop. We read seven listings in full and scored them with our published rubric: FDA notification (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We searched the FDA Philippines verification portal for cosmetic notifications and advisories under each brand. The FDA notifies cosmetics; it does not approve them. No listing prints a notification number, so we matched products by brand and name. The portal’s lists are capped, so a record we did not find is not proof that none exists. We did not test any product.
The dermatology points come from search summaries of news coverage and brand and magazine guides, not the original sources. We did not judge ingredient safety beyond what the listings state, and a patch test is the only way to know how your skin will react. This guide is general information, not medical advice. It has not yet been reviewed by our health content reviewer, and we have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for skin care.
Frequently asked questions
What is glass skin?
A Korean beauty look of smooth, even, luminous skin that seems to reflect light. Dermatologists quoted say it is a cosmetic look, not a clinical term, and that it does not mean poreless skin.
What are the best Korean skin care products on Shopee?
Of the seven we scored, Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum (84/100) was the best documented. Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water (79), Torriden Dive In Serum (78), and the Torriden cream, Relief Sun and SKIN1004 foam (77 each) followed.
Can I get glass skin?
You can get hydrated, even-looking skin with a gentle routine and daily sunscreen. Dermatologists quoted say pores are genetic and cannot be removed, and that more steps do not reliably give better skin.
How long does glass skin take?
Sources disagree, from about 4 to 12 weeks for visible change. Judge progress over months, and stop products that irritate.
Do I need sunscreen for glass skin?
Yes. A dermatologist quoted advises broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day, and says sun damage is one of the biggest factors dulling skin.
Does the FDA approve Korean skin care?
No. In the Philippines cosmetics are notified with the FDA, not approved. A listing that says "FDA approved" is using the wrong word; look for an NN notification on the FDA portal.
Why are COSRX, Innisfree and Laneige not in your ranking?
The FDA has named other products from each brand as unauthorized or unnotified cosmetics. Under our rule that rules the brand out, even though the official shops sell notified products. Belif had no notification we could find.
Is the Round Lab sunscreen FDA approved?
The listing says so, but we found no FDA notification under the Birch Juice sunscreen name, and the FDA does not approve cosmetics. We could not match it, so we did not rank it.
Are "glass skin sets" worth it?
We would be careful. The cheap sets from small shops promise to shrink pores and whiten, which no product does, and we could not check their FDA records one by one.
Is Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun a chemical sunscreen?
Yes. Its ingredients are chemical UV filters, although the listing ticks "non-chemical". That is not a problem in itself, but the specification is wrong.
Which Torriden product should I buy?
The Dive In serum is the hydration step at about ₱11.20 per ml; the Dive In soothing cream is a light gel moisturiser at about ₱6.20 per ml. Both have exact FDA notifications.
When should I see a dermatologist?
For acne, rashes, dark patches or irritation that do not improve, or if a product stings, burns or causes a reaction.
