Our verdict
Yakult Original from JS Online Store (72/100, ₱22.25 per 100 ml) is our pick: it is the only listing that states the strain, the cell count per bottle, the ingredients and the nutrition, with an exact match to Yakult Philippines’ food registration. Dutch Mill Delight from JC Online Grocery (68) is cheaper per 100 mL (₱19) and sells far more, but its listing says nothing about the drink.
Both products are registered foods, but neither brand has an official store on Shopee, so both picks are regular shops with a track record, and both drinks need keeping cool. That is why this guide ranks only two listings. We did not use or test either drink; the probiotic claims are the makers’, not ours. General information, not medical advice.
We searched Shopee for Yakult, Yakult Light, Dutch Mill Delight, Yogut and other probiotic drinks on October 26, 2026, read each finalist listing and shop record, and looked every brand up in the FDA Philippines portal. Neither Yakult nor Dutch Mill Delight is sold by an official store on Shopee, so only listings from long-standing shops with a registered product were ranked; the rest went into the “careful with” table. Price per 100 ml across the two picks, from our calculation: Dutch Mill Delight at ₱95 for 5 x 100 mL is ₱19.00 and Yakult Original at ₱178 for 10 x 80 ml is ₱22.25. The same Yakult sells for ₱75 for 5 bottles (₱18.75 per 100 ml) at a shop that joined Shopee in July 2025, and for ₱189 to ₱249 at another.

Why only two listings, and what to check when you buy
These points are about how the listings are sold and are general information, not medical advice.
- Neither Yakult nor Dutch Mill Delight has an official store on Shopee. Every listing we found is from a grocery or reseller shop, so we ranked only long-standing shops (JS Online Store since 2019 and JC Online Grocery since 2021) whose product matches a registration.
- Both are drinks that need keeping cool. The Yakult text says “keep refrigerated” and 45 days of shelf life; the listings do not say how the shop stores or ships them. Check the date on the bottles and whether they arrive cold.
- Yakult Original at ₱75 for 5 bottles (₱18.75 per 100 ml) comes from a shop that joined Shopee in July 2025 and whose description is a general grocery notice; Yakult Live & Active at ₱189 to ₱249 repeats its title five times as the description. We did not rank them.
- Registrations run to different dates: Yakult Cultured Milk to 6 April 2028 (Light to 23 December 2028) and Dutch Mill Delight to 5 June 2027 and 16 June 2027.

- Want the listing that tells you the most: Yakult Original from JS Online Store states the strain, the cell count and the nutrition per bottle.
- Want the lowest price per 100 mL: Dutch Mill Delight at ₱19.00, but its listing gives no product information, so read the bottle.
- Check the date and temperature: both need keeping cool, so look at the date and feel whether they arrive cold.
- Compare per 100 mL: a bottle of Yakult is 80 ml and Delight is 100 mL, so the bottle price is not comparable.
- Remember what the labels are: these are registered foods with the brands’ own claims, not treatments.
General advice, not from the sources above: people with a milk allergy or a weakened immune system should ask a doctor before taking probiotic products, and sugar is part of both drinks (Yakult lists 16.5 g of carbohydrate per 80 ml bottle).

The only probiotic drink listing we read that gives real numbers: the strain, the cell count per bottle, the full ingredient list and the nutrition per bottle, with an exact match to Yakult Philippines’ food registration. The shop has sold on Shopee since 2019 and 4,000 of these.
It is a regular shop, not Yakult, and the product is chilled: you cannot check from the page how it is kept or shipped. The attribute fields carry an expiry date that has already passed and a shelf life that disagrees with the 45 days in the text, so look at the date on the bottles when they arrive.

We looked every brand up in the FDA Philippines verification portal: Yakult returned Yakult Philippines’ cultured milk registrations, Dutch Mill returned the Delight probiotic drink registrations, and Yogut returned nothing. We scored them with our published rubric: provenance and registration (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10), seller record (15) and value (10). We did not use or test any product.
