Our verdict
The best wellness gifts are things the person will actually use, bought from an official store, with the price and warranty clear. Every gift here comes from a product we have already scored, so you can read the full review first. Our top picks by budget: Pure Form Collagen Powder (92/100, ₱499) and Klairs Airy Sunscreen (75/100, ₱475) under ₱500, Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum (84/100, ₱880) under ₱1,000, Philips Sonicare 1100 (76/100, ₱2,236) and the JISULIFE Life9 fan (77/100, ₱1,079) under ₱3,000, and the Ray-Ban Junior Justin (79/100, ₱5,332) for a child.
Skip anything that treats a health problem the person has not told you about, and anything with a quick-fix claim. A gift that says “you need to fix this” is rarely welcome. This is general information, not medical advice.
In the Philippines the Christmas gift search comes in a few forms: a “Christmas gift guide” or “Christmas gift ideas”, pamasko (a gift given to godchildren, kids or family), and monito monita (the office or family gift exchange with a set budget, called Secret Santa or Kris Kringle elsewhere). This guide covers all three, organised by budget and by who is getting the gift.
₱129 to ₱5,332
is the price span of the 21 gifts below, from the Human Nature Men’s Face Wash to the Ray-Ban Junior kids’ sunglasses. Eleven of them cost under ₱1,000, and the highest-scoring gift in the guide costs ₱499.
Quick picks by person
| Who | Our pick | Budget |
|---|---|---|
| Mom | Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum or a Philips hair dryer | ₱880 to ₱2,986 |
| Dad | Philips Sonicare 1100 or the Human Nature men’s face wash | ₱129 to ₱2,236 |
| Lolo and lola | Omron BP monitor, a memory foam pillow or a Vaseline cream for dry skin | ₱599 to ₱1,980 |
| Kids and inaanak | Lil’ MetroSunnies glasses or Ray-Ban Junior sunglasses | ₱660 to ₱5,332 |
| Officemates (monito monita) | COSRX cleanser, Klairs or Sunplay sunscreen or the JISULIFE Life5 Plus fan | ₱241 to ₱679 |
| Yourself | Torriden serum or the JISULIFE Life9 fan | ₱561 to ₱1,079 |
Gifts under ₱500 (monito monita and exchange gifts)
Small, safe and useful: a sunscreen, a cleanser, a men’s face wash and a collagen powder. Most exchange gifts have a budget, and these stay under it.
| Gift (our score) | For | Price when checked | Why it works, and what to watch | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pure Form Collagen Powder, 150 g (92/100) | Women, anyone into skincare | ₱499 | The top-scoring collagen in our guide, about ₱499. It is a supplement, so ask about allergies or medicines before gifting it. | ShopeeLazada |
| Dear, Klairs All-day Airy Sunscreen SPF50+ (75/100) | Anyone who goes outdoors | ₱475 | A light sunscreen from a Korean brand, about ₱475. A safe gift for most people, although we did not test it on sensitive skin. | Shopee |
| Sunplay Ultra Shield Lotion SPF 130 (73/100) | Students, commuters, officemates | ₱425 | A familiar local sunscreen at about ₱425. SPF 130 is a big number, but it does not mean the recipient can skip reapplying. | ShopeeLazada |
| COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (77/100) | Oily or acne-prone skin | ₱241 | A popular gel cleanser at about ₱241. It contains BHA and tea tree oil, so skip it for dry or sensitive skin. | ShopeeLazada |
| Human Nature Natural 2-in-1 Men's Face Wash (81/100) | Dads, brothers, officemates | ₱129 | About ₱129, the cheapest gift here, with an exact FDA notification. It has a scrub and peppermint oil, so not for freshly shaved or irritated skin. | ShopeeLazada |
Gifts from ₱500 to ₱1,000
This is the range where a gift starts to feel considered, and where skincare, a cream or a pillow works well.
| Gift (our score) | For | Price when checked | Why it works, and what to watch | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum (84/100) | Skincare fans, mom, sisters | ₱880 | The highest-scoring serum in our glass-skin guide, about ₱880, with an exact FDA notification. Alpha-arbutin is a brightening step, so remind the recipient to use sunscreen. | ShopeeLazada |
| Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water (79/100) | Skincare fans | ₱960 | A hydrating essence at about ₱960 that pairs well with the serum above for a small gift set. | Shopee |
| Torriden Dive In Hyaluronic Acid Serum, 50 ml (78/100) | Dry or dehydrated skin | ₱561 | A hydrating serum at about ₱561, a good gift for people who like a simple routine. | Shopee |
| Vaseline Pro Derma Moisturising Repair Cream (76/100) | Family, lolo and lola | ₱665 | A fragrance-free cream for dry skin at about ₱665. It is a moisturiser, not a treatment for eczema; see a doctor for that. | ShopeeLazada |
| Surplus Ergonomic Memory Foam Pillow (71/100) | Anyone who sleeps hot or has a stiff neck | ₱599 | About ₱599. Pillow feel is personal, so a gift receipt or a short chat about how they sleep helps. | ShopeeLazada |
| JISULIFE Life5 Plus Handheld Fan (66/100) | Students, commuters, officemates | ₱679 | About ₱679 from the official shop, handy in the Philippine heat. The battery life claim is the maker’s, with no capacity stated. | ShopeeLazada |
Gifts from ₱1,000 to ₱3,000
For parents, partners and godchildren, where it is worth buying from an official store with a clear warranty.
| Gift (our score) | For | Price when checked | Why it works, and what to watch | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JISULIFE Life9 Handheld Fan (77/100) | Anyone who commutes | ₱1,079 | The best-documented handheld fan we found, about ₱1,079, with weight, battery and a 12-month warranty stated. | ShopeeLazada |
| Philips EssentialCare Hair Dryer, 1200 W (73/100) | Students, moms, anyone | ₱1,306 | A 10K+ seller at about ₱1,306 from the Philips shop. The listing states the warranty two ways, so keep the receipt. | ShopeeLazada |
| Philips 3000 Series Hair Dryer BHD340 (77/100) | Mom, long hair, daily blow-dry | ₱2,986 | The best all-round dryer we scored, at about ₱2,986, with a cool-air setting and a temperature-tempering attachment. | ShopeeLazada |
| Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush (73/100) | Anyone who wants to try electric | ₱1,050 | The cheapest rechargeable brush we scored, about ₱1,050, from Watsons Official Store. Gift a spare head, too. | Shopee |
| Philips Sonicare 1100 Toothbrush (76/100) | Dad, partner, parents | ₱2,236 | The best-documented rechargeable we found, about ₱2,236, with a timer, pacer and 14-day battery. Heads wear out every three months. | ShopeeLazada |
| Omron HEM-7121J Upper Arm BP Monitor (73/100) | Lolo, lola and parents with hypertension | ₱1,980 | About ₱1,980 from a known medical brand. Make sure the recipient wants one and that the cuff fits; it does not replace a doctor’s check. | ShopeeLazada |
| Lil' MetroSunnies Kyle Kid's Eyeglasses (70/100) | Kids 8 and below, inaanak | ₱660 | Soft kid-sized frames at about ₱660. The blue-light lens has little evidence behind it, so buy them for the frames, not for eye protection. | ShopeeLazada |
Gifts above ₱3,000
For milestone gifts and big family presents. Read the review before you spend this much.
| Gift (our score) | For | Price when checked | Why it works, and what to watch | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Philips Sonicare 3100 Toothbrush (73/100) | Someone who brushes hard | ₱3,836 | About ₱3,836; the pressure sensor is the reason to pay more than for the 1100. | ShopeeLazada |
| Panasonic EH-NA27 nanoe Hair Dryer (74/100) | Frequent travellers | ₱4,749 | A light, foldable dryer at about ₱4,749 from the maker’s shop. You pay for the brand and the size, not for faster drying. | ShopeeLazada |
| Ray-Ban Junior Justin Round Sunglasses (79/100) | A child you want to spoil | ₱5,332 | About ₱5,332 from the Ray-Ban Official Store; the one kids’ product in our guide with a UV-protection lens. | ShopeeLazada |
How to choose a wellness gift
- Give something the person asked for or already uses. A gift that answers a problem they have not mentioned can read as a comment on them.
- Ask about allergies and medicines before gifting a supplement, a cleanser with acids or anything swallowed.
- Buy from the brand’s official store or a major chain, and check the shop name; fakes and old stock are the common Christmas problem.
- Check the warranty and keep the receipt, especially for hair dryers, fans and toothbrushes.
- Add a small spare: a toothbrush head, a sunscreen refill or a second lens cleaner makes an appliance feel like a gift.
- Respect the exchange budget. In a monito monita, the cheap and safe gifts above are the right size.
- Buy early. Delivery slows in December, and popular items sell out; check the shipping date on the listing.
What we would not gift
- Slimming coffees, “whitening” soaps and quick-fix supplements. They score poorly in our own reviews, and some lack a registration number.
- Medicines or anything for a condition the person has not told you about; a doctor should decide.
- Unbranded “anti-radiation” glasses or ₱150 fans. We could not verify the sellers.
- Imported electrics with a 100 V plug, which are not made for the Philippines’ 220 V.
- Energy drinks for children or teens. See our energy drink guide.
How we put this gift guide together
We built this guide from the products we have already reviewed and scored on this site, choosing gifts that are safe to give, widely useful and sold by official stores or major chains. Scores, prices and links are taken from the product records, with the price dates shown on each full review; Shopee prices and vouchers change, so check the current price. We did not test any gift as a gift and we did not repeat the research for this guide. Guide published October 15, 2026.
The gift advice (ask first, respect the budget, keep the receipt) is common sense, not research. The product details come from the linked reviews, whose sources are listed there. This guide is general information, not medical advice. It has not yet been reviewed by our health content reviewer, and we have not checked the Shopee affiliate programme’s rules for gift guides.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Christmas gift for mom?
A skincare gift like the Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum (84/100, about ₱880) or a Philips hair dryer (from about ₱1,306). Ask about allergies or fragrance dislikes first.
What is a good gift for dad?
The Philips Sonicare 1100 electric toothbrush (76/100, about ₱2,236) or, for a smaller budget, the Human Nature Men's 2-in-1 Face Wash (81/100, about ₱129).
What can I give lolo and lola?
A blood pressure monitor such as the Omron HEM-7121J (73/100, about ₱1,980) if they want one, a memory foam pillow, or a fragrance-free cream for dry skin. Avoid supplements unless their doctor agrees.
What is pamasko?
Pamasko is a Christmas gift, traditionally given to godchildren, kids and family. It can be money or a gift.
What is monito monita?
It is the Filipino gift exchange, like Secret Santa or Kris Kringle, usually with a price limit. Our under-₱500 section is aimed at it.
What are good gifts for kids?
Soft kid-sized glasses like the Lil' MetroSunnies (about ₱660) or UV-blocking sunglasses like the Ray-Ban Junior Justin (about ₱5,332). Ask the parents first about anything swallowed or applied to skin.
Are skincare gifts safe?
Mostly, if the person has no allergies. Choose fragrance-light products from official stores and include the receipt for exchanges.
Should I gift a supplement?
Only if the person asked for it. Supplements are not right for everyone, and the label or a doctor should guide use.
When should I order Christmas gifts on Shopee?
Early. Delivery slows in December and some items sell out. The listing shows an estimated shipping date.
Where do these prices come from?
From our full reviews, which show the date each price was checked. Prices change, so check the current price on Shopee.
